What's the easiest way to create a connection between PTAGIS and R? I'd like to have the latest version of my Interrogation Summary available for analysis in R. Can this be done through an FTP subscription? Or do I need to make an HTML connection?

You can set up a subscription to your saved interrogation summary report to run on a schedule and either send the results as an attachment to an email or export the results to our ftp site. If exporting to the ftp site, the file can be downloaded from here ftp://ftp.ptagis.org/MicroStrategyExport/ in a directory named after your user name.

Thanks! It took a while but I got it to work. It looks like .csv file subscriptions sent to the FTP site are encoded as "UTF-16LE". If you simply export it from PTAGIS the .csv gets encoded ANSI. As long as you know the .csv file encoding you're good to go. Thanks Nicole!
