Since the coordinates associated with instream mark/release/recovery activities are generally inaccurate (unless the m/r/r activity occurs at the stream/river's length midpoint), I recommend providing an additional "Coordinate Accuracy" attribute for each pair of latitude/longitude attributes.  Currently any m/r/r/ activity on a stream or river would have "inaccurate" coordinates, while all dam, hatchery, trap, island, and lake sites would have "accurate" coordinates (although not necessarily as precise as indicated by the reported values).

Thanks for the suggestion. We have explanatory text alerting PTAGIS users that the coordinate pairs for River or River Segment MRR sites represent only the midpoint of that stream, but it probably is a good idea to have something in the data itself that indicates this as well.

Perhaps you can provide the Site Type attribute instead of or, preferably, in addition to the coordinate precision.  I suspect that many PTAGIS users will not see the explanatory text elsewhere on the site that explains the different precisions.
