PTAGIS and the PIT Tag Steering Committee are happy to announce that the 2021 PIT Tag Workshop has been scheduled for January 26-28, 2021, at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington.

The registration fee is expected to be $300 and will include three meals: breakfast and lunch buffets on Wednesday and a breakfast buffet on Thursday. A sponsored reception will be held Tuesday evening. A block of rooms at Skamania Lodge will be available at the GSA rate of $157 per night plus 9.2% tax. BPA has confirmed that Fish and Wildlife Program projects that have historically traveled to the PIT Tag Workshop and those with a current nexus will be able to include costs to attend the workshop in the relevant contract.

We are planning to follow a very similar format as the previous workshop: starting in the afternoon on Tuesday and ending in the afternoon on Thursday. Thursday afternoon will be split into two sessions: a PTAGIS software training session and a session on instream PIT tag detection technologies. If you are interested in attending the workshop, please complete this short survey about options for the Thursday afternoon session.

We will send out more information about registering for the workshop and a call for presentations later this summer or fall. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime.
