2015 2/25/2015 1/1/2016 Ladder was dewatered October 19 - November 25 for maintenance.

2002 3/27/2002 12/13/2002 This was the first year of operation. Temporary configuration of BO2 (3/27/02 - 4/25/02): Cascades Island Ladder had temporary data collection on weirs 52 and 51. Data were submitted manually on Monday, Wednesday and Friday until permanent installation was completed. NOTE: date/time stamps associated with fish records collected during this temporary configuration are times that data were collected, and not times that fish transited the ladder.
2003 1/28/2003 12/3/2003 The Cascades Island ladder was dewatered between December 13, 2002 and January 28, 2003 for annual service and inspection. The BO2 PIT tag transceivers were activated at 8:00am on January 29. The ladder was dewatered for annual maintenance on December 3, 2003, at 10:30 am.
2004 1/13/2004 1/1/2005 The Cascades Island ladder was dewatered for annual maintenance between December 3, 2003 and January 12, 2004. The ladder was at orifice flow between Jan. 16 and 20 due to an oil slick in the forebay. At around 10:00 AM on 11/24/04, the connection channel to the Washington Shore ladder was closed, and the Cascades Island ladder exit to the spillbay was opened; this direct route will remain active until the vertical slot detection installation is complete in the Washington shore ladder.
2005 1/1/2005 1/1/2006 The Cascades Island fish ladder is generally linked to the Washington Shore fish ladder by an Upstream Migrant Transport (UMT) channel. During the construction in the Washington Shore ladder (between November, 2004 through February, 2005), use of the UMT channel was discontinued, and any fish ascending the Cascades Island ladder exited the ladder immediately upsteam and North of the spillway.
2006 1/1/2006 12/13/2006 The Cascades Island ladder exit into the forebay was opened at 9AM (PDT) on October 5, 2006, and the UMT channel connecting the Cascades Island ladder to the Washington Shore ladder was blocked. The ladder went to orifice flow at 1022h on December 9, and was completely dewatered on December 13.
2007 3/9/2007 1/1/2008 The Cascades Island ladder watered up on March 9. It had been out of service since late 2006 for annual maintenance. The Upstream Migrant Channel (UMT) connecting the Cascades Island (CI) ladder with the Washington Shore ladder was closed on Oct. 1, 2007 due to construction at BON PH2. All fish ascending the CI ladder after Oct. 1 were routed through the old ladder exit into the forebay above the spillway, rather than into the UMT and up the Washington Shore ladder through the four BO4 antennas.
2008 1/1/2008 1/1/2009 The Upstream Migrant Channel (UMT) connecting the Cascades Island (CI) ladder with the Washington Shore ladder was closed on Oct. 1, 2007 to facilitate construction at the second powerhouse. All fish ascending the CI ladder were routed through the old ladder exit into the forebay above the spillway, rather than through the UMT and up the Washington Shore ladder through the four BO4 antennas. The UMT returned to service at 10am on March 1.
2009 1/1/2009 1/1/2010 The Cascades Island fishway went to orifice flow on Jan. 17, and was dewatered for scheduled maintenance between Jan. 20 and Feb. 28. The ladder was at orifice flow between Dec. 1-3 to install a Smith-Root array in the UMT.
2010 1/1/2010 12/3/2010 The Cascades Island ladder was taken to orifice flow on Dec. 1 and dewatered on Dec. 3. The ladder will be out of service until Feb. 2011.
2011 2/28/2011 1/1/2012 The Cascades Island fishway was OOS from 03dec10-28feb11 for periodic maintenance.
