I spoke with Charlie Strom and he explained that there was a possibility of the generator having to kick in yesterday due to thunderstorms around 16:00-17:00. It appears that we have lost probably a UPS on PC2, which has the HSIP plugged into it, so we have no comms for transceivers or PC2. This issue will be addressed probably on Monday. This facility has been shut down since June 1. |

Yesterday the site was visited by PSMFC personnel to perform an inventory check. The UPS on PC2, the Utility, and the HSIP was found to be dead and has been for quite some time. THe UPS was replaced with what was thought to be a good APC 1300. The UPS however was also bad. THe HSIP, PC2 and the Sonicwall were plugged into the 1500 UPS that is currently running PC1. A second UPS will be installed rpior to the facility start up for the 2014 outmigration season. |

Resulting from a UPS failure on 7/31/2013, a 39 day 18 hr. file gap exists in the PTAGIS 4 database. Although there is no gap in the PTAGIS 3 database for this time period, the HSIP was without power so no xcvr data exist in those files. The data gaps are inconsequential as the site was dewatered for the duration of the outage. |

The monitors were opened up today and there was no water to be found inside either one. A new UPS 1500 was added to the platform to replace the UPS that had failed earlier in the year. The new timer tags were installed and the outside of the pipes were sealed with the flex seal. The new tag codes for the site are as follows:
A1- 3D9.0EEEEEE1D9
A2- 3D9.0EEEEEE1D4
B1- 3D9.0EEEEEE181
B2- 3D9.0EEEEEE155 |

PSMFC was on site to investigate the cause for the transceivers poor efficiency. It was discovered that the transceiver had been placed into "standby" mode on Friday afternoon. There was no activity from PSMFC staff to make this occur and all indications show that the action came from the transceiver. This has never happened at any of the acclamation sites in the Past so PSMFC will be keeping a close eye on future operations to ensure that this does not occur again. |

For unknown reasons, the primary PC closed and submitted file ESJ-2018-101-P-002 after approximately one minute. Meanwhile the PC continued to interrogate to file ESJ-2018-101-P-002, then closed and submitted it at the next automated interval. The second version of the file was rejected due to identical names. File ESJ-2018-101-X-002 was created from the second file and compared to data from the secondary PC for accuracy. PTAGIS will continue to monitor, no further problems to report. |
