3/25/2000 10/31/2000 First year of ISO detection.
3/25/2001 10/31/2001
3/25/2002 10/31/2002
3/25/2003 10/31/2003
3/25/2004 10/31/2004
3/25/2005 10/31/2005
3/25/2006 12/16/2006 The LGR collection gallery was watered up March 20 and the facility was in primary bypass mode from March 20 until March 25 at 0700h, when the fish facility began smolt collection. All fish were bypassed back to the river until 0700h on April 20, when the facility began collecting for transportation. The first barge of the 2006 season left Lower Granite Dam on April 21, on an every-other-day (EOD) schedule. Every day barging began April 24. For 36 hours from April 25-27 the COE direct loaded 208,913 fish into barges. Transportation and sampling activities concluded at 0700h on Nov. 1; after that, all fish were routed to the river through the East Raceway/River Exit monitor, in order to audit PIT tag detections. Due to freezing conditions, the facility switched to primary bypass from 0830h on Nov. 28 until 0730h on Nov. 30; PIT tags are not detected in the primary bypass. Water stopped flowing over the separator on December 16, and the facility was dewatered on December 18.
3/25/2007 10/31/2007 GRJ started putting water over the separator at 7AM (PDT) on March 25, 2007. There was no general facility transportation prior to May 1, but there were limited transportation activities, specifically for research. Any PIT-tagged or untagged fish diverted into Raceway 10 prior to May 1 were transported along with the research fish. The facility was dewatered for the season on October 31.
3/25/2008 12/13/2008 The LGR juvenile fish facility watered up at 7AM (PDT) on March 25. Sampling activities concluded on November 1, but the site remained in secondary bypass until December 13, and then dewatered for the year.
3/25/2009 12/5/2009 The Lower Granite JFF watered up in bypass mode on March 25, 2009. Due to heavy loads of fine debris, the facility switched into primary bypass from ~8AM on Friday, May 22 until ~8AM on Monday, May 25. The facility switched from collection/sampling to full bypass mode on October 31. Due to freezing conditions, the facility switched to primary bypass on Dec. 5, and dewatered for the season on Dec. 16.
3/25/2010 12/16/2010 The LGR JBS separator was watered up on March 25, with fish routed through the various sample, bypass, and collection sub-systems. The site reverted to secondary bypass (water over the separator, no sample, fish returned to the river via the adult exit [F-antennas] or through the A- and B-gates and out to the river via E-Gate) on Oct. 31. Due to freezing temperatures, the facility reverted to primary bypass mode (no PIT tag detection) on Nov. 22, and returned to secondary bypass on Nov. 25. The facility was dewatered for the winter on Dec. 16.
3/23/2011 12/15/2011 The LGR JFF watered up in primary bypass (water over the separator and out the adult return flume) on March 23. The facility switched to secondary bypass mode (water and fish through the A- and B-Separator gates) at 0600 pst on March 25. The facility switched back into primary bypass mode on December 15.
3/22/2012 12/20/2012 The collection gallery was watered up on March 21 and the facility was in primary bypass until March 22, when the JFF was put into in secondary bypass (water over the separator and through the A and B gates). SMP sampling began on March 26. General transportation began on May 1. Sampling and transportation ended on October 31. The JFF was dewatered on December 20.
3/18/2013 12/6/2013 The facility watered up in secondary bypass mode on March 18. Sampling began on March 25. Collection for transport began on April 27. Collection for sampling and transportation concluded on October 31 and the facility was placed in secondary bypass. Site was dewatered on December 6.
