JPT - Juvenile Pond Touchet

JPT is a permanent instream PIT tag interrogation site at RKM 102 on the Touchet River. The site consists of two rows of antennas, with each row nearly spanning the wetted width of the channel during base flows. Each row consists of two 20-foot HDPE antennas, installed in flat-plate configuration. Each antenna is powered by a Biomark IS1001 (ACN) and the ACNs are connected to a Biomark IS1001-MC (MTS).The antennas were built and installed by WDFW. The electrical power at the site is provided by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife with a 110 electrical outlet located at the Touchet Adult Trap upstream. JPT has remote communication abilities provided by a cellular modem. The original configuration of this site included three antennas per row where were powered by a Biomark FS1001M multiplexor. The original antennas and transceiver were replaced in June/July 2018.
