The FF will be out until March of 2013. 11/12/2012 08:10 darren@b 03:TestTagFailure,04:TestTagFailure: It appears that the full flow pipe has de-watered. We received a message from the PLC on Sun at 01:12 in the AM. I have been trying to confirm this with the COE but i have got no repsonse probably due to the holiday. 11/11/2012 07:21 darren@b 03:TestTagFailure: no direct cause for this failure. The phase shifted quickly and the noise increased. This will be investigated during the next site visit or earlier if it becomes necessary. 11/08/2012 13:57 Troy This site's M4 PCs were upgraded from M4 1.4.4x64 to M4 1.4.6x64. PC2 was upgraded first and if there is a need to patch data it can be found in B2J-2012-313-S-014.xml 11/01/2012 11:25 Roger Performed site GMC on 11/1/2012. The system was placed in bypass mode at that time. Full flow PIT tag interrogation will remain active until the 2-mile pipe is dewatered, which will occur about one month early this year on 14 November. 10/31/2012 09:02 DGE_Robo PrimaryBypass (PrimaryBypass) changed from 'CLOSED' to 'OPEN' at 2012/10/31 06:02:50 10/31/2012 09:02 DGE_Robo SampleGateBypass (SBypass) changed from 'OFF' to 'ON' at 2012/10/31 06:02:08 10/29/2012 08:46 Darren PSMFC was unable to remotely stop and start Multimon for the DST shift so with the assistance of site personnel this action was performed. The PC had to be rebooted to restart PCA to allow remote sessions. 10/28/2012 08:49 Troy Could not access PC1 via PCA. PC2 was accessed and Multimon was stopped and restarted for DST. All files were archived. The .205 is the first file at the correct time. 10/24/2012 09:32 Dean_Bal Just a heads up: Smolt monitoring operations will conclude for the season at Bonneville Juvenile Fish Monitoring Facility at 0700 on Wednesday, 31 October 2012. The system will be placed in bypass mode at that time. Full flow PIT tag interrogation will remain active until the 2-mile pipe is dewatered, which I understand will be in mid November this year. I'll provide an update when the dewatering date is confirmed. 10/16/2012 06:20 Rclark@b 91:ReaderReset,92:InputSyncDetect,92:ReaderReset,93:InputSyncDetect,93:Rea derReset: Caused by PSMFC personnel during site visit. 10/15/2012 12:12 Troy In regards to transceiver 93, there are two circuits that pass through the receptacle box in the transceiver enclosure. CKT 18 is a GFI circuit, CKT 12 is not. CKT 18 is also tied to a receptacle outside of the transceiver enclosure and was tied to the receptacle that 93 was plugged into. CKT 12 had been wired only to panel heaters. CKT 12 was removed from the panel heaters and tied to the receptacle for 93. CKT 18 removed from the "transceiver 93" receptacle and was wired to the panel heaters and remains wired to the outside receptacle. According to the panel schedule this is how it should have originally been wired. 93 is no longer on a GFI circuit nor is it tied to a outside receptacle. 10/15/2012 10:06 Troy The circuit that the PLC monitors was found to be off. FLR2-CKT 25 was turned back on. The PLC force was removed and it was verified that the Sample gate was working as it should. The Sample ON light in the lab was out and this was fixed by changing the bulb. More bulbs will be ordered as the last one was taken from the locker. Transceiver 93 is powered by FLR2-CKT 18 which is a GFI circuit breaker. It was thought that all GFI circuit breakers related to transceivers were replaced with normal circuit breakers. This one was missed in that endeavor. It is also tied to a receptacle out side the enclosure that can and has been used for power tools. The circuit breaker was reset, the temporary power strip removed and 93 was plugged back into its receptacle. This configuration is not a typical PSMFC configuration and may be addressed in the near future. No other problems to report. 10/12/2012 12:02 DGE_Robo DivertDuringSample (A_DDSample) changed from 'ON' to 'OFF' at 2012/10/12 09:51:05 10/12/2012 12:02 DGE_Robo SByC_Enable (SBC) changed from 'ON' to 'OFF' at 2012/10/12 09:51:03 10/12/2012 09:02 DGE_Robo AC_Power (AC_Power) changed from 'OFF' to 'ON' at 2012/10/12 07:47:12 10/12/2012 09:02 DGE_Robo SampleGateBypass (SBypass) changed from 'OFF' to 'ON' at 2012/10/12 06:17:33 10/12/2012 09:02 DGE_Robo SampleGateBypass (SBypass) changed from 'ON' to 'OFF' at 2012/10/12 06:17:34 10/12/2012 09:02 DGE_Robo Sample_100% (A_S100) changed from 'ON' to 'OFF' at 2012/10/12 06:09:33 10/12/2012 09:02 DGE_Robo Sample_100% (A_S100) changed from 'OFF' to 'ON' at 2012/10/12 06:09:27 10/12/2012 06:13 scottl@b 51:ReaderReset,52:InputSyncDetect,52:InputSyncLost,52:ReaderReset,81:Reade rReset,82:InputSyncDetect,82:ReaderReset,91:ReaderReset,92:InputSyncDetect ,92:InputSyncLost,92:ReaderReset,93:InputSyncDetect,93:ReaderReset,A1:Read erReset,A2:InputSyncDetect,A2:InputSyncLost,A2:ReaderReset,A3:InputSyncDet ect,A3:ReaderReset,A4:InputSyncDetect,A4:InputSyncLost,A4:ReaderReset,E1:R eaderReset,E2:InputSyncDetect,E2:InputSyncLost,E2:ReaderReset,F1:ReaderRes et,F2:InputSyncDetect,F2:InputSyncLost,F2:ReaderReset: Alarms caused by power outage. 2012/10/11 11:35:41 --> set to 'OFF' 10/11/2012 12:49 Roger Performed site GMC on 10/11/2012. There are no problems to report. 07/25/2012 09:22 Troy MM was given gate control on 07/23/2012 @ 10:00 PDT. M4 was given back gate control on 07/25/2012 @ 10:18 PDT. 07/23/2012 13:19 Troy At the site to upgrade the PLC and M4. M4 was uninsulated and the new version loaded. The PLC was then loaded. A bit was forced on that caused the sample to be on for ~30min. The site bio is aware that the sample was on for an extended period of time. The problem was corrected. It was found that the heartbeat isn't working in this version of M4 so it was overridden in the PLC and stick testing was done. All sticks were diverted properly while bugs were being worked out of the HMI programs. The SbyC gate sticks to the right on a pretty consistent basis when it has gone to the left several times. The site bio has been appraised of the issue and asked to submit a trouble ticket. There are no SbyC events to the left scheduled and limited SbyC events to the right remain. The switch was returned to OFF so that MM has control of the gates. M4 is still trying to divert and will increment it's counters but does not have control of the gates. The counters in MM were compared to those in M4 and all match. A AC_111 was detected and diverted to the right by M4 and the seasonal counter was incremented properly. 228 fish passed through the A1-A4 coils, A1-A2 missed one of these fish which shows in MM reports and in the PLC. The counts in the PLC are 226,226,226,228. With one missed fish and one SbyC event to the right. There appears to be an extra count on A4 which may be due to when DGE calculates events vs when the PLC calculates events. All in all, all fish were diverted properly. 06/19/2012 12:20 Troy M4 was given back control at 11:40:44 MM PC1 time. All counters match between M4 and MM and the PLC. 15 Sticks were thrown in each direction and all were diverted properly. Coil to Coil (C2C) timing was put to the test by putting A4 in standby and throwing 5 sticks. All diverted properly. A3 was then put to standby, 5 sticks thrown and some diverted properly. A2 was then put to standby and 5 sticks thrown and some diverted properly. The sticks were retrieved and timing adjustments made and sticks re-thrown on just A1 and A1 and A2, all sticks were diverted properly. The new times are 146 for A1 delay, 90 for A2 delay, and 65 for A3 delay. When I arrived I connected a laptop to the maint port to monitor the noise levels. The peak and FDXB Peak noise levels were around 70%. I opened the antenna shield enclosure and moved some wires around. The levels were then around 35%. I connected a scope to the FDXB filter test point on the analog board and adjusted the receive tuning capacitor. This didn't lower the level. I went to the JFF facility to check for possible noise sources and when I checked the PC's the level was around 4% to 5%. I asked if anything may have been turned off during that period and found that the PVC piping was being removed with sawzalls. However, when they started up the sawzalls again, I didn't notice any increase in noise levels. The levels did bump up to around 13 - 17% at around 1:20PM. I didn't see any error messages the entire time I was on site. We will continue to monitor. 03/21/2012 06:29 alan@bay 02:LowExcCurrent: This will be addressed during the next site visit. 03/20/2012 06:36 alan@bay 02:LowExcCurrent: This will be addressed during the next site visit. 03/19/2012 10:11 alan@bay 02:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC is aware of these alarms and will be investigating them this week. 03/19/2012 07:34 alan@bay 02:LowExcCurrent,02:TestTagFailure: PSMFC is aware of these alarms and will be investigating them this week. 03/18/2012 06:47 darren@b 02:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC is aware of these alarms and will be investigating them next week. 03/17/2012 07:11 darren@b 01:BadOscFreq,01:LowExcCurrent,01:Overrun,01:ReaderReset,02:LowExcCurrent, 02:ReaderReset,02:TestTagFailure,03:TestTagFailure: Some of these alarms were generated by PSMFC personnel during a site GMC. The transceivers were tuned properly and the timer tags read 100%. I still got the errors. The transceivers were replaced and this did not remedy the problem. I did a survey of the site to track down any potential noise sources. The only thing that I saw different was a new air drier in the compressor room. The site Bio is unaware of anything else recently installed or changed. 03/15/2012 06:50 Troy@bay 01:LowExcCurrent,02:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC will be on site today, these alarms will be addressed at that time. 03/14/2012 06:42 darren@b 01:LowExcCurrent,02:LowExcCurrent: These alarms will be addressed tomorrow during a site visit. 03/13/2012 06:17 darren@b 01:LowExcCurrent,02:LowExcCurrent: These problems will be addressed during the next site visit.
