Prior to this, a read range test was performed on the original firmware and then again with the new 1.0 FW. At the time that the RR test was conducted, the channel water level had raised to almost 14.5 ft therefore reducing the RR to 2 inches negetive of the baseline mark which is substantially less than normal. Verified that both the original FW and the new 1.0 FW had exactly the same read range given the depthof the channel. The FW 1.0 was left to run over night. The next morning the channel water level had dropped to 12.5 ft and the read range was 3 inches positive of the baseline mark. This proved that the new FW and old FW was tracking each other as the water level flunctuated. The new FW 1.0 will remain in the reader and will operate until the channel goes dry for the season. Testing continues on the new FW 1.0 on a standalone reader, therefore the production reader is not impacted by these activities. When I talked to Dave, he said that he thought it was down for around ½ hour. I can't confirm that because I had to work clearance issues around that time related to the Spillway Power Replacement job. Hopefully, we didn't cause you too much of an outage at B2CC or too much grief. On the up side, the Spillway contractor does now have access for sufficient power for his trailer. Noticed that neither de- humidifiers were running? There was a start request pending on D1. Several attempts were made to find out why the request was pending but the de-hu didn't start. More investigation will have to take place when I return to the office. By checking old email it looks like D2 started running on 5/21. It probably ran for a week and then sent the request to D1 to run. This is just a guess and if correct there was no de- humidification for ~2 weeks. Good news is that when D2 was started the humidity didn't spike which it would have if there was any condensation in the antenna. I will be installing more alarming to ensure that this doesn't go un-noticed again. No other problems to report. 06/04/2008 11:32 Alan A GMC was performed 6/4/2008. PSMFC will monitor to see if the water level drops to it's normal operating range (last course tune was at ~11 feet of water) at which point it should come back into tune. It will be necessary to work on the downstream side of the BGS curtain to install these receivers. With that being said it will be also necessary to close the B2 Corner Collector during this installation. The current plan is to close the B2CC starting on Wednesday April 16th from 0700-1800 to facalite this equipment installation. This will allow PNNL to work in the B2 forebay safely. It also is Bonneville Projects unwavering BRZ policy to not allow any work below the BGS in the forebay without the closure of the B2CC for safety concerns. In the event that the researchers need and additional day I would also ask that Thursday April 17 be put on the calendar as a B2CC backup day. 04/16/2008 07:12 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Active Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading enough level to deem the channel active *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 16/04/2008 07:16:13, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Active +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 04/16/2008 07:12 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Active Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading enough level to deem the channel active *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 16/04/2008 07:16:10, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Active +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 04/16/2008 07:12 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Active Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading enough level to deem the channel active *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 16/04/2008 07:16:07, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Active +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 04/16/2008 07:12 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Active Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading enough level to deem the channel active *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 16/04/2008 07:15:52, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Active +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 04/16/2008 07:12 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Active Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading enough level to deem the channel active *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 16/04/2008 07:15:42, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Active +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 04/09/2008 13:07 Troy A site GMC was performed 04/09/2008. performance of both. Unit 02 had a read range of 6" outside the base line mark from last year, unit 03 had a phenominal 19" outside the base line mark. Neither transceiver required any tuning other than the course capacitance adjustment. Bottom line, both transceivers are performing well and are ready for the season. Serial number 03 is currently in operation for the season and 02 will remain as backup. Verified date and time zone, transceiver ID and all other pertinent information. Unfortunatly, the wall wort for the o-scope was not working so I could not verify the current calibration or look at the noise floor. the current according to the xcvr is 22.5 amps with 22 Vdc drive. Current cal and noise floor will be done next week when we return for a checkup and other activities. The system came online at 12:00 3/6/08 and is collecting data. 03/06/2008 12:00 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: AC_POWER_ON Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: AC Power restored alarm *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 06/03/2008 13:03:13, Current value: 0.000000 ALARM Action: AC Power On +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/06/2008 12:00 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: D2_Auto Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: D2 in Auto *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 06/03/2008 13:03:13, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: D2 in Auto +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/06/2008 12:00 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: D1_Auto Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: D1 in Auto *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 06/03/2008 13:03:13, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: D1 in Auto +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/06/2008 12:00 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Active Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading enough level to deem the channel active *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 06/03/2008 13:03:13, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Active +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/06/2008 12:00 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Temperature_Low Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Temperature transmitter is reading Low temp *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 06/03/2008 13:03:13, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Temperature High +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/06/2008 12:00 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: RH_Level_Low Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A RH transmitter is reading Low RH *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 06/03/2008 13:03:13, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: RH Level Low +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/06/2008 12:00 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Level_Low Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading low level *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 06/03/2008 13:03:13, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Level Low +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/05/2008 15:24 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: Channel_Active Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A Level transmitter is reading enough level to deem the channel active *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 05/03/2008 16:27:12, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: Channel Active +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 03/04/2008 07:14 Scott_Li FYI Hello Scott, This is just a follow up to our phone conversation on Wednesday when your cell phone cut out as you were driving down the road. Pat Hunter has a PH2 Forebay dive going on out here every day thru March 5th, 6AM to 6PM. This is for installation of the Bonn2 Forebay BGS guidance device for the B2 Corner Collector. The B2CC will be opened up tonite (2/29) for the first time. That will start sometime after 6PM after the dive for the day is finished. The B2CC will then be shut down before the next day's dive begins at 6AM. This dive with the following B2CC opening/closing cycle will be repeated daily thru March 5th. After the March 5th dive is finished at 6PM, the B2CC will be opened up for fish passage until the end of the season at the end of August or whenever it's designated. Pat will set me straight if garbled the above facts, but I think I've got the basic info down. Sorry I didn't get back to you with an e-mail follow up a couple of days ago, but I just got too busy. Bonneville is currently installing a Behavioral Guidance Structure (BGS) in the PH2 forebay. This is a series of floats with a 10 foot deep steel curtain that is positioned in the forebay at an angle to direct debris and fish toward the corner collector. The plan is to open the corner collector prior to fish season while the contractor is still around to make sure the structure and its' anchors will behave the way it was designed. It will open on 2/27 an then close on 2/29. The plan is to open it up again for the Spring Creek release on the afternoon of 3/5. Also, Bradford Island ladder may come back to service as early as 2/27. We are fairly confident that it will be open on 2/25 and 2/26. From there it will be day to day. I talked with Darren today on the phone and we are going to chat again on Thursday, 2/21, to make sure that we are still on track with the expected schedule and verify everything with the clearance holders for getting you and crew access to these areas. I will be gone 2/19 and 2/20 and back Thursday, 2/21. If you have questions or need assistance contact Ben. He's the man with the master plan. 01/09/2008 10:49 bcc_robo Content-description: Mail message body Event on Tagname: RH_Level_Low Status: ALM, Level: LVL *** Tagname Description: A RH transmitter is reading Low RH *** Tagname Value: Alarm Time: 08/01/2008 11:50:48, Current value: 1.000000 ALARM Action: RH Level Low +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This Email has been generated automatically by: *** Device Identification: WebPort *** Device Description: *** Device TCP/IP addresses Ethernet: http://192.168.103.57 PPP: http://0.0.0.0 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 01/09/2008 07:12 Troy Annual checks were performed on the de=hu units which created some alarm 01/08/08.
