Our operators are going to be doing some switching on our 13.8 kV tie line #1 during the night and into the early morning of April 5/6. This will interrupt power to the BI PIT Tag Bldg. I talked to Scott Bowman of the operators and he indicated that there would be fairly frequent (approx. 5- 6) switching events of short duration. I believe your PC's in the bldg are UPS backed up. But in any event, please be aware of the upcoming switching events and take whatever actions you deem necessary. Incidentally, we're still on board with the Burke Electric's Stan Thompson to have the North Spillway Tower taken down for power this upcoming Saturday (4/1). So, you will lose power to your CI PIT Tag bldg for most of that work day. That's in addition to the Project losing power to the fishway diffusers, valves, etc. We're OK, though, on Spillway hoist receptacles, though. Apparently, we can power them up from the South Spillway Tower during the North Spillway Tower outage. Hopefully, all of the work North Spillway Tower electrical work will be finished on 4/1 and the contractor will not have to go into 4/2 to finish out that work. Thanks, --Jon 03/20/2006 15:03 scottl Corrected the problem with the DSL service this morning. Problem was a poor connection at the demark. Verified that data services for all bonn sites was restored and also to the SMP office. Removed all the party lines from the DSL POT line in order to avoid any potential interuption in service. This will be addressed on the next site visit. 03/09/2006 08:40 scott Testing E-Mail 03/09/2006 08:39 Troy_Hum Testing email 03/09/2006 08:38 troy@ruf 02:TestTagFailure: This will be looked into on the next site visit. 03/03/2006 15:23 alan@ruf 02:TestTagFailure,03:BadOscFreq,03:LowExcCurrent,03:Overrun: These alarms were caused by PTAGIS Field Operations personnel during a site visit. 03/03/2006 09:28 alan@ruf 01:TestTagFailure,02:TestTagFailure,03:Overrun,03:TestTagFailure,04:LowExc Current,04:Overrun: Slot antennas being tuned. 03/03/2006 09:28 alan@ruf 01:TestTagFailure,02:TestTagFailure,03:Overrun,03:TestTagFailure,04:LowExc Current,04:Overrun: Slot antennas being tuned. 03/02/2006 11:14 dlwarf@r 01:LowExcCurrent,01:TestTagFailure,02:LowExcCurrent,02:Overrun,02:TestTagF ailure,03:LowExcCurrent,03:Overrun,03:TestTagFailure,04:LowExcCurrent,04:O verrun: Slot antennas being tuned. 03/01/2006 08:10 dlwarf@r 02:LowExcCurrent,02:Overrun,03:TestTagFailure,19:LowExcCurrent: Site is currently being tuned. 02/28/2006 17:34 Darren The previous entry was an error by my laptop computer. The ladder was watered up on Saturday but the exact time has not been verified yet. A site GMC was performed today by PSMFC personnel. All the orifice antennas were tuned and checked for noise and detectability. The slot antennas are still being worked on by PSMfc personnel, the work should be completed by tomorrow. Darren R. Chase PSMFC Feild Systems Engineer (509) 735-2773 Ext.3 02/28/2006 14:17 Dave I installed the new BO1 (Config. #110) site map illustrations to the PTAGIS file and web servers. I truncated the 'from_date' value for the current BO1 record in the ptagis3.site_cnfg_hist table, to remove the time component; I then and then updated the corresponding record in the ptagis3.site_images table with this date value (24-feb-2006). The bo1_110 PDF and JPG images are properly correlated and displayed in the PTAGIS Web Portal application. 02/28/2006 08:10 dlwarf@r 02:LowExcCurrent,02:Overrun,02:TestTagFailure,03:LowExcCurrent,03:TestTagF ailure,04:LowExcCurrent,04:Overrun,04:TestTagFailure: Site currently being tuned. 02/26/2006 08:12 dlwarf@r 02:LowExcCurrent,02:TestTagFailure,03:LowExcCurrent,04:TestTagFailure,14:L owExcCurrent,19:LowExcCurrent: Ladder watering up. 02/25/2006 09:49 dlwarf@r 03:LowExcCurrent,04:TestTagFailure,0E:TestTagFailure,15:TestTagFailure,18: LowExcCurrent,19:LowExcCurrent,1C:LowExcCurrent,1E:TestTagFailure,1F:TestT agFailure: Site now sending files but not watered up- causing alarms. 02/24/2006 15:30 Dave The BO1 detection platform was brought back on line at ~3:00PM today. Kennewick staff were unable to upload data files because I had forgotton to unblock receipt of BO1 files in the etc/sites configuration file. After removing this block, I pcA'd into BO1-PC2 and manually retransmitted three data files without incident. The Bradford Island ladder is scheduled to water-up tomorrow. 02/15/2006 10:19 Dave I disabled site recognition (not just file submission checking) to prevent loading of data files until the site's antenna numbering schema has been updated at both the site and in the PTAGIS Site Configuration Manager (SCM). 02/14/2006 10:22 Darren I changed the configuration on PC1 to stop sending the files automatically. This will be returned once the site construction is completed and the new HSIP is put back into the pittag room. 02/10/2006 10:52 Alan_Bro Manually pushed BO106039.E1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 02/03/2006 18:27 Troy None of these sites are 'green' in PCA. This site and another DSL site PRO are not responsive to PCA. PRO was visited this evening and internet connectivity is good. 02/01/2006 11:13 Troy Manually pushed delinquint files. Each site attempted to load but ran into what looked to be a timeout error. PSMFC will monitor for future errors. 01/20/2006 11:34 Scott_Li The data services for these sites were converted from the T-1 to DSL on 1/19/06 at 1600 hrs. A comprehensive function test was completed on all data collection computers. This included testing of the remote access PCA application to all sites. Will revise the site I/P address table on Monday 23rd, 06 to reflect the new adressing scheme. Buffers were dumped on the BO4 transcievers and the records are contained in file BO406020.E1. This was done due to recent outages incurred on the BO4 plaform. 01/05/2006 08:34 Scott_Li The annual inspection of the orifice antennas was completed on December 13, 05. It was noticed that the silicone sealant around the outside perimeter of the antennas was pealing off between the antenna and the shield. A few of the conduits were loose at the point they enter the capacitor cover but have been that way since installation. This doesn't mean that something should not be done to correct the situation. Will devise some method of securing conduits, this more than likely will not involve the COE. Photos of every antenna were taken and archived on the shared server Smolt in the Kennewick office. 01/01/2006 12:40 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for BO1 #### End of Event Log for BO1 ###
