PSMFC also investigated the unusual noise that has been noticed on the slot antennas at BO4. PSMFC contacted Mary Moser (NOAA Fisheries) to test the HDX system to ensure that it was not the cause of the noise. The system was turned OFF and ON and there was no change in the noise spikes rolling through the 4 transceivers. A noise block filter was placed in line with the transcievers to check for possible feedback on the AC system but still no change. PSMFC also looked at the noise spectrum with a spectrum analyzer but did not detect any outside frequencies between 10kHz and 500kHz. This problem will continue to be investigated until a solution can be found. The efficiencies are still in the high 90% range for system as a whole. 06/17/2008 14:22 scottl The switch over to the new ISP is complete. All internal DNS entries are now pointing to the new server. Did a diagnositc test upload on all computers without errors. B2J FF system is experiencing some noise in all transcievers that cannot be tuned out, especially 04. This phenom in the past has been associated with grounding but never been proven. BO4 also has intermittent and sometime persistent elevated noise levels that also cannot be tuned out. Will talk it over and get a game plan to correct the situations or atl east minimize the effects. 06/12/2008 14:17 Troy A site GMC was performed 06/12/2008. No problems were discovered during this visit. 04/29/2008 08:40 scottl@r 01:TestTagFailure: Problem will be looked into on 4/30 during the next GMC. 04/25/2008 08:05 darren@r 19:LowExcCurrent: These alarms were generated by PSMFC personnel during a site GMC. 04/24/2008 11:54 Alan A GMC was performed 4/24/2008. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. Both clocks are within 23 seconds behind atomic time, no problems found. 04/17/2008 08:10 troy@ruf 01:TestTagFailure: Noted 04/14/2008 08:22 troy@ruf 01:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be addressed on the next site visit. 04/13/2008 08:39 alan@ruf 01:TestTagFailure: This transceiver might need tuning but id reading timer tags and PIT Tags well. This will be investigated during the next site visit. 04/09/2008 14:04 Troy A GMC was performed 04/09/2008. All transceivers were tuned and adjustments made where needed. Noticed that there was a problem with OD, OE, OF and 10 when my test stick only read once. The problem ended up being missing batteries. Darren has new batteries in his truck and will replace some time later today. Why Unique was ON and the Buzzer was ON but the transceiver retained it's ID I don't know. Will set the parameters to their correct state on the way out. 04/04/2008 08:32 darren@r 0D:LowExcCurrent,0E:LowExcCurrent,0F:LowExcCurrent,13:LowExcCurrent: Alarms were generated by PSMFC personnel while performing maintenance on the site. 04/03/2008 12:45 scottl Performed GMC, all transceivers were tuned and calibrated as necessary. All xcvr internal batteries were replaced and units reset. No problems to report. 03/31/2008 08:15 darren@r 17:LowExcCurrent: The threshold and the alarm level are equal. I will adjust the the threshold via PCA. 03/27/2008 07:14 scottl@r 17:LowExcCurrent: Will adjust current threshold to avoid alarms. 03/25/2008 07:12 darren@r 17:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC will adjust the threshold level so that the alarm and level are not equal. 03/24/2008 13:59 Alan A GMC was performed 3/24/2008. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. Both clocks are within six seconds of atomic time, no problems found. 03/12/2008 15:41 Darren A site GMC was performed today (3-12-08). All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detection ability. No problems were found. The PC clocks were 2 minutes fast and were reset to within 1 second of atomic time and each other. 03/08/2008 21:01 Dave According to the Corps, the Bradford Island Fishway returned to service at 3pm on 29 February. 03/06/2008 09:32 Troy The UPS's were replaced for both PC's. No fish data was witnessed on PC2 while PC1's UPS was being replaced so no gap file was submitted. BO108066.M2 could be used if the need arises to fill the gap. 03/03/2008 14:03 Troy A GMC was performed 03/03/2008. All transceivers were tuned and adjustments made where needed. 01/03/2008 07:42 darren@r 01:TestTagFailure,02:TestTagFailure,03:TestTagFailure,0D:LowExcCurrent,15: TestTagFailure,17:LowExcCurrent,17:TestTagFailure: The ladder was scheduled to be de-watered on 12/17/07. These alarms would indicate that it happened. 01/01/2008 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for BO1 #### End of Event Log for BO1 ###
