All transceivers were checked for tune and adjusted as needed. Transceiver 03 still has elevated noise levels. The source of the noise has not been determined. This is most likely what is causing the exciter current low alarms. Transceiver 04 has slightly elevated noise in the 1 to 4 range. PC1 and PC2 are within 1 second of atomic time and each other. Files on PC2 were archived. Clearing TASS. 06/14/2012 11:12 Roger Performed site GMC on 6/14/2012. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjusted as needed. The displayed noise level on transceiver 02 was between 0 and 2. 03 was between 1 and 12. 04 was between 0 and 4. I disconnected the exciter cable connector at 03 and completely dried out the flex conduit fitting with a heat gun. I cleaned the connector pins and reassembled. This had no impact on the noise level. I opened the transceiver AC power distribution panel and found water in the bottom of the enclosure. I dried out the water and cleaned dirt and moss from the door seals. I did notice that the AC power bus set screws are all rusty. I still suspect that the increased noise levels may be due to added electronic equipment for Lamprey studies. PC1 and PC2 are within 1 second of atomic time and each other. Files on PC2 were archived. There are no other problems to report. 06/14/2012 06:24 darren@b 03:LowExcCurrent: Alarm will be addressed today during a site GMC. 06/13/2012 06:08 darren@b 03:LowExcCurrent: This alarm will be investigated during the next visit. 06/11/2012 06:15 darren@b 03:LowExcCurrent: Alarm will be addressed during the next site visit. 06/10/2012 06:26 rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent: This will be checked during the next site visit. 06/09/2012 07:23 rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent,03:TestTagFailure: This will be investigated during the next site visit. 06/07/2012 12:02 Roger Performed site GMC on 6/7/2012. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjusted as needed. Transceivers had elevated noise levels, especially 03 which was in the 5 to 15 range. There is new Lamprey study equipment installed nearby that was turned on about a week ago. This might possibly be the source of the noise. PC1 and PC2 are within 1 second of atomic time and each other. Files on PC2 were archived. There are no other problems to report. 06/07/2012 06:26 Rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent,03:TestTagFailure: This will be addressed during the next site visit. 06/06/2012 06:29 Rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent,03:TestTagFailure: The transceiver appears to have drifted out of tune. This will be addressed during the next site visit. 06/02/2012 06:16 rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent: Transceiver was tuned on 6/1/2012. 06/01/2012 10:33 rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent: Transceiver was re-tuned and exciter voltage increased during GMC on 6/1/2012. 06/01/2012 10:31 Roger Performed site GMC on 6/1/2012.
