1994 Event Log BVJ -- Bonneville Juvenile Sub-sample

carter and i went to bonneville in june to check the
detection facility and to pick up observation files.
we noticed at that time that the laptop running the
tunnel program was unreliable: rebooting it meant
that the settings were lost and trying to reset
them was hard.  the date was not properly set and
the detection files all got stamped with the wrong
dates: i went through each file and reset them
by hand (with a few errors i need to fix).  the
nmfs people called us to say that the machine was
down (July 11)  we lost data from june 25
through july 12.  i went out there on july 12
with a new machine but was unable to set it up for
the modem to work.  i returned on july 15 with karl
ross from biomark. karl loaded additional software
and reconfigured the plug-in.  now we can call in
for our observation files from here.  the
laptop appears to running fine and the downloads
are going well.  we don't anticipate any further
complications in the near future for bonneville.

6/24/94 13:54  	Rick Martinson called from Bonneville.  The BVJ computer 
		time stamp is 2/2/88 12:54 as of this time (this is the
		correct pacific standard time).

		Rick will attempt to reset the date.
