Will submit from Gladstone. Mailer hadn't sent files in 36hrs. Displayed status message was "Sent BVX00124.006". Manually connected and watched progress. On the first attempt, Mailer contacted its destination IP successfully, but never sent files. I manually disconnected and reinitiated the process. On the second attempt, all outstanding files were sent, but Mailer never hung up (even after the modem timed out). I manually disconnected before restoring MM to full screen and walking away. 05/04/2000 11:29 Don_Warf Site computer was set to 14:37 PST from PDT of 15:37 on 5/3/00 05/04/2000 09:47 Don_Warf Visited site for a general maintenance check. This version possably fixes the problem were x's are randomly written to the I/P address dialog box preventing any subsequent attempts to send mail. 03/04/2000 11:19 Carter_S NMFS submits the following... The flat plate system at Bonneville, DSM-1 is installed and working well. We did encounter some problems; the PSMFC computer would not recognize the rocket port needed to collect data from our detectors, so we used one of our computers that does not have a mailer program or Laplink installed. Sandy and Dave Marvin decided that we should bring the PSMFC computer here to Sand Point for Sandy to look at. That is where it is at present; Sandy isn't in today (friday), so we don't have an answer to the problem yet. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with Windows 98. The flat plate PIT tag detection system at DSM-1 consists of four synchronized detector units, each with its own antenna. There is an upstream and a downstream antenna array, each consisting of two overlapped antennas (coils) that have been positioned for minimum cross coupling and interference. The upstream array was named coil "0" and "1", with coil "0" being to the left side when looking upstream. Coil "2" and "3", the down stream array, are arranged similarly with coil "2" being to the left side when looking upstream. 01/05/00 09:57 carters Initial log creation for BVX ####End of Event Log for BVX###
