    I submitted files CCP05073.CC1 and CCP05094.CC2 on behalf of Mike McLean,
    who provided the following information regarding the monitored release of
    CSS fish from Lookingglass Hatchery at the Catherine Creek Ponds in 2005.

    CCP1: Received fish on 3/7/05;  Begin volitional >12:00pm 3/14/05; Force
    out >11:30am 3/27/05.

    CCP2: Received fish on 3/28/05;  Begin volitional >12:00pm 4/4/05; Power
    down 3:30am 4/5/05, stopped volitional;  Resumed volitional >12:00pm
    4/6/05;  Early force out 6:00pm 4/7/05.

    During the second acclimation period we did experience a generator problem
    which in turn powered down the readers and the pump early in the early
    morning of 5 April.  From the last PIT tag read we determined that the
    power was off approximately 20 to 30 minutes before discovered.  The
    volitional release tube was closed from 5 April until noon of 6 April.
    This was to determine if there was going to be any delayed stress
    mortality due to the low water.  We had a second malfunction of the
    generator in the afternoon of 7 April which was caught immediately
    (volitional tubes were closed immediately).  It was decided to release the
    fish early and not risk another breakdown which could cause the loss of
    fish.
