No PIT tags have been detected since April 28. I've updated the obs_site_dates table with an end_date of April 28, and flagged the site as "Done" for the year. 04/21/2005 14:50 Alan_Bro A GMC was performed 4/21/2005. All transceivers were tuned. The monitors were sticktested with 20 sticks each, results following: A1 19/20 A2 19/20 B1 19/20 B2 19/20 Both PCs' clocks were adjusted 00:03:27 ahead so as to be within one second of atomic time. No problems found. 04/14/2005 11:04 Alan_Bro PC1 was unresponsive to PCA. With the help of site personnel, communications were restored. Files ESJ05103.D1, ESJ05103.E1, ESJ05103.F1, ESJ05103.G1, ESJ05103.H1, ESJ05104.A1, ESJ05104.B1 and ESJ05104.C1 were manually submitted. ESJ05104.B2, created while PC1 was being rebooted, was manually submitted from PC2. 04/14/2005 08:17 Alan_Bro PTAGIS Field Operations is looking into the whereabouts of the tardy files. -----Original Message----- From: pittag@psmfc.org [mailto:pittag@psmfc.org] Sent: Thursday, April 14, 2005 7:15 AM To: sitemaint@psmfc.org Subject: Problems with remote data sites... The following problems with remote sites were detected; esj: Last data submission was received on Wed Apr 13 9:06:26 PST 2005 Please check this out. 03/28/2005 16:07 Scott_Li PCA into PC1 to find out why it did not load at the 12:00 hr interval, Error message was "Error in initializing the RAS connection", File upload failed. Manually pushed the file up to PTAGIS with out problems 03/17/2005 15:47 Troy In responding to email notification that ESJ had not loaded I PCA'ed into PC1 and discovered that the 'archive only' radio button had been selected. I changed the selection to 'upload and archive' and put in a delay of 60 seconds. I then pushed the file to Portland. 03/15/2005 13:30 Alan_Bro A GMC was peformed 3/15/2005. All transceivers were tuned. 20 sticks were thrown into each monitor, results following: A1 - 19 A2 - 19 B1 - 20 B2 - 20 No problems found. 03/11/2005 21:46 darren@r A1:TestTagFailure: Alarm was generated by PSMFC personnel while performing a site GMC. No problems were found. 03/11/2005 13:23 Troy All fiber optic ends were re-terminated in the transceiver enclosures. A GMC was performed and 20 sticks were thrown. The results are as follows A1 18 of 20 A2 20 of 20 B1 20 of 20 B2 20 of 20 A1 may have missed sticks due to 2 sticks being in the field at the same time. The possiblility exists for this condition when sticks are thrown too fast which tends to happen when one's hand starts to freeze during the process of throwning sticks. 03/10/2005 08:02 Darren_C This e-mail was received from Charles Strom at the Cle Elum Hatchery. It states that there is an early release from all the acclimation ponds. Based on MIPT recommendations and approval by STAC juveniles at acclimation sites will start the volitional release tomorrow on March 9. Pre-release sampling will be completed tomorrow. Screens will be removed at acclimation sites once Ray and Don complete sampling at Jack Creek (the last sample site). Towards the end of the day all ponds will be lowered by removing two dam boards allowing fish the opportunity to migrate in the evening hours. Thursday morning the two boards will be placed back in to bring pond levels up to normal height. The same process of removing two boards and placing them back in the morning will be repeated three times per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for a two week period. Thanks Charlie Darren R. Chase PSMFC Systems Engineer (509) 735-2773 ext.3 02/15/2005 14:51 Alan_Bro A pre-season GMC was performed 2/15/2005. Upon arrival, PC1 was locked up. 277 files from PC2, ESJ05012.x2 and newer (the date that fish were delivered to the site), were put on floppy and will be sent via sneaker-net back to Kennewick so that they can be submitted to PTAGIS without bogging down the server. The PCs had drifted 00:25:50 behind atomic time and were adjusted within 1 second of atomic time. Last years files were moved from C:\Program Files\PTAGIS\MiniMon\Archive to C:\Program Files\PTAGIS\MiniMon\2004 Data. Both PCs are now operating well. The A monitor had 8" of water and the B monitor had 8". The water was removed. The tranceivers were flashed with v5.0 firmware. The report delay was set to 180 minutes. The transceivers were tuned. The site was sticktested with 13 sticks each side, all sticks were seen by all transceivers. ####End of Event Log for ESJ###
