EVENT LOG FOR SITE ESJ The first line of each entry contains a date/time stamp & who is reporting. The most recent entry is listed first. Date Time Who ---------- ----- -------- 12/21/2008 08:34 Darren It appears that the snow has overwhelmed the satellite dish again. We have turned on the heaters and it appeared to be working until yesterday afternoon. The snowfall may be to much for the heaters to overcome. We will continue to monitor this site and check on possibilities for this heavy snowfall. 12/18/2008 14:49 Alan Manually pushed ESJ08347.G1 through ESJ08353.D1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 10/13/2008 07:30 Scott_Li Enabled the file submission checking process for these sites as they were returned to operation on Nov. 9th 08. 10/01/2008 16:28 Scott_Li Removed these sites from the file submission reporting tool until further notice. 09/25/2008 13:31 scottl The site computers have been removed therefore any file submission to PTAGIS has been suspended. The new replacement PC's will be re-installed in the weeks to come. Also, the UPS back panels have also been removed and will be fitted with new replacement units and returned to operation in the next few weeks. 06/30/2008 09:10 Troy PCA'ed into the site to try and determine why the site doesn't load. Found several .ZIP files in the programfiles/minimon/TEMP directory. I was able to move all but one the a 'zip files' folder already created in the directory. The one file I wasn't able to move, cut/paste or delete was the following file. TXB5246197-41C2-11DD-886B-00E029845496.zip. When trying to cut/paste or delete I would get a message stating make sure the disk is not full or write protected or that the file is not currently in use. I checked the properties of the file and archive was checked. I un- checked that and still couldn't get rid of the file. I even stopped minimon to see if it had a hook in the file but had no luck. I put the properties back to archive and pushed the 29 delinquent files to Portland. This site is currently with out fish. 05/27/2008 09:02 Alan Manually pushed ESJ08144.C1 to ESJ08148.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. I remotely rebooted PC1 in an effort to reduce file upload annoyances. The transceivers were checked for tuing and noise. No sticks were passed through the monitors due to the low volume fo water in the creek. PSMFC also investigated a placement of the mounting pole for the satellite dish which will be moved from the building. No problems were discovered during this visit. 05/15/2008 12:01 Darren PSMFC was informed by Charlie Strom from the Cle Elum Hatchery that the remaining fish in the raceways at each site were forced out yesterday (5- 14-08) with most of the fish leaving the facility through the detectors. However some fish still remain in the creek above the detectors. The sites are being prepared for the end of the season and Charlie will inform PSMFC as to the date and time of when each facility will be considered done for the season. 05/07/2008 13:39 scottl Performed site GMC, asigned asset numbers to electrical enclosures and anthro carts, No problems to report. All transceivers were tuned. No sticks were thrown as there are pump issues currently at ESJ and not enough water flowing through the monitors to pass the sticks. The Back-UPS ES 350 for transceivers A1 and B1 is signaling that it's time to replace the battery. After the seventh timer tag firing today, the modem nest for transceivers A2 and B2 went out of service. The problem was rodent droppings and so forth causing a short in the modem nest itself. The modem nests were vacuumed out, then the bad nest and modems were replaced with locker stock. All points of (rodent) entry were sealed with silicone. Transceivers A1 and B1 were never out of service. The clocks on both PCs were set to within one second of atomic time. No other problems found. 03/26/2008 12:39 scottl Performed site GMC, all transceivers were retuned and calibrated as necessary. All xcvrs internal batteries were replaced and xcvrs were rebooted. Will patch file in the AM and submit to PTAGIS. Reviewed all the VPN and firewall settings in order to resolve the BB problem of not able to PING the modem. All settings in the router were as published on the network wiki page for ESJ. Todd K was unavailable therefore will have address problem from the Kennewick office.
