"Save Ack" was/is not selected. Files ESJ09306.H1 - ESJ09307.D1 were manually uploaded via PCA. The site is currently dewatered. 10/30/2009 10:56 scottl Forgot to mention, the uploader was reconfigured, unchecked the "Save Ack file, deleted over 1000 ack's in temp dir. 10/30/2009 10:53 scottl Changed Modem and NAT addressing in the sonicwall to the new IP's issued by Starband. PCA access was verified, ping times from Catfish to ESJ were roughly 700 to 800 mS on average. 10/14/2009 12:59 rday@bay A2:TestTagFailure: noted 06/07/2009 10:18 Troy Uploaded the 8 missing files. Found a zip file in the temp directory. Went through the painful process(~20 min) of trying to delete the file over a very slow connection. Minimon had a hook in the file and just stopping Minimon did not work. I had to exit out of the program completely in order to delete the zip file. No data was lost as the site is down for the season. 06/06/2009 09:17 Troy Manually pushed the delinquent files. 05/21/2009 10:01 Dave I flagged pond operations as completed as of 5/18/09 in the ptagis3.obs_site_dates table. I was going to change site notification to 'ptoc_ken' only in etc/sites, but discovered it had been configured that way all season. 05/19/2009 08:30 Alan Manually pushed ESJ09139.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 05/16/2009 08:51 Darren PSMFC was informed on Friday by Charlie Strom that all the fish were pushed out of the raceways. the process started in the morning at all three locations. The pumps are still running and there are some residual fish remaining in the creek. This fish will be removed sometime next week. 05/13/2009 10:00 scottl Update for work done on 5/12/09. Performed site GMC, all transceivers were tuned and calibrated as necessary, no problems to report. Site personnel indicate that the fish in all raceway's will be pushed out of this facility starting Friday May 15th. 04/28/2009 14:52 scottl Performed site GMC's all transicevers were retuned and calibrated as necessary, no problems to report. CFJ: Replaced the Sat modem in order to correct the on and off line problems of recent past. Will monitor. 04/20/2009 12:38 Alan A GMC was performed 4/20/2009. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. 15 sticks were thrown into each monitor. 15 sticks made it through the B side and were detected on both transceivers. 9 sticks made it through the A side and were detected on both transceivers. Site personnel will check for obstructions in the A side. The clocks on both PCs (PC1 ~5 min fast, PC2 ~20 sec slow) were set to within one second of atomic time. No other problems found. 03/16/2009 08:13 Darren According to Charlie Strom, The screens will be removed today for the start of the volitional release. 02/25/2009 14:50 darren@b B2:LowExcCurrent: This alarm was generated during a site GMC. 02/25/2009 14:50 troy@bay B2:LowExcCurrent: These alarms were generated while performing a pre- season GMC. 02/18/2009 13:30 scottl Pre-season activities included opening up the shield boxes and pumping them dry, both A and B shields were 1/3 to 1/2 full of water, obviously a significant breach in the seals somewhere. The problem with transciever A2 and B2 not reporting was the UPS. When arrived, the unit was in a constant alarm state. Reset the unit and everything was fine. For precautionary measures, the UPS was replaced, I recall having some difficulty with this unit when originally installed. Switched the primary computer over to the dedicated newly installed circuit #33. Shot the spare fiber pairs all tested OK for use. Tuned transceivers, stick test results as follows. A1 detected 8 of 9 sticks A2 detected 9 of 9 sticks B1 detected 10 of 10 B2 detected 10 of 10 Sticks did not want to travel through flume and exit very well that would explain the lower than expected stick tag efficiencies. Threw several ice blocks through the pipes in an attempt to dislodge debris. Transceivers are well tuned and ready for the season. Buffers in the transceivers erased. 02/10/2009 07:11 Darren_C I was able to manually submit the outstanding files, after I removed the compressed ZIP file from the temp directory. The ZIP file was still being used by Minimon so the application had to be stopped and restarted with minimal (less than 1 minute) of down time. No PITtag detections were present during this period of time on PC2 and the site has not removed the boards. Darren R. Chase PSMFC Office :(509) 735-2773 Ext. 3 Cell: (509) 539-6786 02/09/2009 07:40 Scott_Li Manually pushed data files, deleted the .zip and all .ack files. 02/04/2009 07:55 Scott_Li Manually pushed delinquent data files. Temp folder was previously cleared of remaining zip files. 02/04/2009 07:12 Darren I PCA'd into the site because it had not loaded since this morning. I found that there was a compressed ZIP file in the temp directory. I had to stop Minimon to delete the file and then restart Minimon. There is a 1 minute 10 second file gap during which time there were no PITtag detections on PC2. No patrch file was created. 01/28/2009 07:48 Scott_Li Enabled e-mail notification and site checking due to fish are in the system at this site and satellite communications have stabilized. 01/28/2009 07:25 Alan MiniMon was exited momentarily at ~07:20 1/28/2009 so that a zip file could be deleted from the temp folder. No fish activity was observed on PC2 during this operation. Files ESJ09027.C1 through ESJ09028.C1 were then manually pushed to PTAGIS. 01/26/2009 09:18 Darren PSMFC was notfied by Charlie Strom that fish were delivered to the site starting on 1-20-09. There were four ponds populated with the remaining ponds populated on 1-21-09. The volitional release boards are not scheduled to be removed until mid march. 01/13/2009 08:01 troy@bay A1:LowExcCurrent: Site down for season, clearing TASS. 01/11/2009 07:12 darren@b A1:LowExcCurrent,A1:Overrun,B1:LowExcCurrent: Site down. Clearing TASS. 01/05/2009 16:18 Scott_Li Disabled site submission checking until the connection to this site can be corrected. Suspect that a visit to the site will be in the somewhat near future. 01/01/2009 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for ESJ #### End of Event Log for ESJ ###
