EVENT LOG FOR SITE ESJ The first line of each entry contains a date/time stamp & who is reporting. The most recent entry is listed first. Date Time Who ---------- ----- -------- 10/01/2013 07:47 Alan The file gaps on 9/23 and 9/26 2013 are inconsequential as the site was dewatered. 09/23/2013 13:24 dchase The monitors were opened up today and there was no water to be found inside either one. A new UPS 1500 was added to the platform to replace the UPS that had failed earlier in the year. The new timer tags were installed and the outside of the pipes were sealed with the flex seal. The new tag codes for the site are as follows: A1- 3D9.0EEEEEE1D9 A2- 3D9.0EEEEEE1D4 B1- 3D9.0EEEEEE181 B2- 3D9.0EEEEEE155 09/23/2013 06:38 Alan MiniMon was briefly exited to delete a zip file. Files ESJ13264.C1 - ESJ13266.C1 were manually pushed to PTAGIS. Any file gaps are inconsequential as the site is dewatered.; 09/16/2013 08:15 Alan Resulting from a UPS failure on 7/31/2013, a 39 day 18 hr. file gap exists in the PTAGIS 4 database. Although there is no gap in the PTAGIS 3 database for this time period, the HSIP was without power so no xcvr data exist in those files. The data gaps are inconsequential as the site was dewatered for the duration of the outage. 09/10/2013 06:38 dchase Yesterday the site was visited by PSMFC personnel to perform an inventory check. The UPS on PC2, the Utility, and the HSIP was found to be dead and has been for quite some time. THe UPS was replaced with what was thought to be a good APC 1300. The UPS however was also bad. THe HSIP, PC2 and the Sonicwall were plugged into the 1500 UPS that is currently running PC1. A second UPS will be installed rpior to the facility start up for the 2014 outmigration season. 08/01/2013 09:08 dchase I spoke with Charlie Strom and he explained that there was a possibility of the generator having to kick in yesterday due to thunderstorms around 16:00-17:00. It appears that we have lost probably a UPS on PC2, which has the HSIP plugged into it, so we have no comms for transceivers or PC2. This issue will be addressed probably on Monday. This facility has been shut down since June 1. 07/12/2013 07:14 Alan The M4 PC recovered from an unexpected crash at ~1012 PDT 7-11-2013. There is a 5min gap in the M4 data that will not be patched as the site is dewatered. No further problems to report. 05/22/2013 07:03 Alan User: Alan. Site: ESJ. Comments: SS - Site dewatered 5-17-2013. Event date: 5/17/2013 8:02:00 AM. Site activity: down 05/16/2013 07:14 Darren I spoke with Charlie Strom yesterday (5-15-13) and he informed me that all the raceways have been cleared of fish at all three acclamation sites. They will be walking the crrek just above the monitors for Jack Creek on Thursday and Friday (5-16 and 5-17-13) and shutting the water off on Friday. They will be working on the remaining sites during the next week (5-20-13). 05/02/2013 09:30 Roger Performed site GMC on 5/2/2013. All transceivers were checked for tune. !0 sticks were thrown on the A and B monitors. All sticks were read on all transceivers. PC1 and PC2 are within 1 second of atomic time. There are no problems to report. 04/19/2013 09:15 Roger Performed site GMC on 4/19/2013. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjusted as needed. 10 sticks were thrown on the A and B monitors. All sticks were read on all transceivers. There are no problems to report. 04/18/2013 06:36 Alan At 0626 PST 4/18/2013 on the MiniMon PC, the clock was adjusted ~00:14:00 ahead to get it within one second of atomic time. No reason for the substantial discrepancy could be found. The "Internet Time" utility on that PC reported that the clock was successfully sychronized three days ago on the 15th. The M4 PC was/is within one second of atomic time. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 04/16/2013 07:42 Alan No PIT tag detections occurred during yesterday's M4 upgrade. 04/15/2013 09:51 Troy Upgraded M4 to version 1.5.4.0. Changed the clock to recongnize DST. No problems to report. 04/14/2013 08:53 Darren Manually pushed the 103.G1 - 104.B1 files to the server. No .zip file was found. It has been snowing heavily at this site and the connection has been intermittent. 04/13/2013 09:51 Darren I contacted the site Bio Charlie Strom on the notification of the connection going down. He informed me that it was snowing heavily at the site and he would have Jackson brush off the snow to restore to the connection. 02/13/2013 14:42 Scott_Li PC2 M4 machine is down. Called the site for assistance in diagnosing the issue. No response , will keep trying. 01/10/2013 11:48 Darren PSMFC was notified today (1-10-13) by Charlie Strom that all 6 raceways have been populated. 01/02/2013 16:31 Troy The M4 version was uninstalled, and the appropriate folders deleted. M4 version 1.5.1.0 was then installed. 01/02/2013 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for ESJ #### End of Event Log for ESJ ###
