Found that the controller for coils 4c,4e was not outputing a 12vdc pulse upon detection of a pittag fish although it was collecting data. The problem seemed to intermittent. Actions taken: Resoldered all terminals within the Molex connector on the utility card. Checked solder joints on the gate jack. Prolem was still intermittent. Replaced utility card and processor card in controller 23. Note: The downstream coils 4c,4e have no delay before operate. Stick test show that the gate is late and sticks hit the leading edge of the flume when diverting with the downstream coils only. Lubrication of all the pnuematics may be nessesary to help the cause. If controller problem persists, could be that the 12vdc within the controller is low. Will monitor for reoccurring problem. 06/04/96 07:45 jen problems receiving data via the modem. download from goj failed last night. not able to sustain connection long enough to receive data this morning. calling field crew to let them know. 05/28/96 19:30 scottl Replaced exciter pcb on B-diversion coil AA to improve efficiency.
