No problems found. 07/28/2005 12:58 Dave Greg Moody, Project Biologist, provides the following information: Little Goose bypassed approximately 5000 to 7500 fish through the adult fish release gate at the separator on the morning of May 9 from 0700 to 0730 hours. This bypass was necessary as the separator became inundated with fish that were “held up” in a closed gatewell. When the orifices were opened the flood of fish overwhelmed the separator, requiring the release/bypass. Approximately 2000 to 3000 of these fish were in poor condition or dead. Little Goose does not have PIT tag detectors above the wet separator or on the adult return pipe. No problems were found. No test sticks were passed through the diversion monitors due to the high volume of fish in the system. The diversion gates were checked during the normal operation of diverting PITtagged fish. I noticed that the air was reapplied to the 3-way SBC gate and verified that through the event log posting from Dave Marvin that there SbC activity again into the tank. The air pressure was at 90 psi. This site is configured for the following SbyC activity: CSS: Two-thirds of first detections (AC11-16) to be routed to the raceways for transport; all fish previously-detected upstream (AC21-26) to be returned to the river. Salmon River Basin Chinook: For each of the 2005 migrant groups (AC51-65), up to 100 fish (20/day max) will be routed to the left SbyC tank for physical observation. Any and all fish tagged in 2003 (AC-66) will be diverted to the left SbyC tank. NPT stocks, Stanley Basin sockeye, and Grande Ronde Basin steelhead - All of the fish in these groups (AC42-45, AC46, and AC49, respectively) will be routed to the raceways for transport. 03/31/2005 08:45 Scott_Li An In/Pre-Season site visit was conducted by Dave and Scott in order to ensure that the interrogation platforms were set to their base configuration prior to the peak out-migration period. Most sites had already been reset but were revisited anyway in order to go over some the SByC activities and mild changes to the base configuration files. 03/25/2005 13:46 Dave I reset the GOJ SbyC platform to the generic configuration. I updated the GOJ-GEN.DB database on both machines, and updated the WATCH.TAG file on GOJ-PC2. I reset the counter files. The clocks on the two PCs are within one second of each other and atomic time. I will update the platform with the production SbyC files prior to the site's water-up on April 1. 03/24/2005 13:32 Dave I updated the GOJ timer tag records in the test_tags table with the list provided by Troy in the new ignor.tag file. 03/24/2005 12:09 Troy A2's TT was replaced with a TT bearing the code 3D9.0EEEEEE22F. The ignore.tag file was modified on PC2. Copied to the ftp server and then downloaded onto PC1. The cable from the AIC card to the PIC that has been placed on the plateform is installed.
