All transceivers were checked. B4 was experiencing periodic noise. It was found that the coil was all the way against the downstream side of the flume. Re-positioning and re-tuning of B3 and B4 resulted in eliminating the noise on B4. NMF's was on site to repair the 3 way gate. It was found that the cylinder was bad. The cylinder was replaced. I added pilot air to the 2- way solenoid which seemed to improve performance and eliminated the 'slop' that used to happen when the gate tried to center. 10 sticks were thrown on A and B slide gates (Five AC_255 and five AC_244) The resluts are as follows: A1 9/10 B1 10/10 C1 20/20 A2 10/10 B2 10/10 C2 20/20 A3 10/10 B3 10/10 C3 20/20 A4 10/10 B4 10/10 C4 20/20 The air to the 3-way (Sbyc) Gate was left on and the SbyC Enable switch was turned off. No other problems to report. 08/10/2006 09:27 Troy B3's TT was replaced. The new tag code is 3D9.0EEEEEE538. The old tag (3D9.0EEEEEE1A5) was removed from the ignore.tag file and the new tag entered. The file was ftp'ed to ptagis and multimon was restarted on both PC1 and PC2. All transceivers were checked for tuning and noise. Diviersion test sticks were passed through both the "A" and "B" monitors. They were detected and diverted from the separator but the side to side SbyC gate did not function properly in that it would not divert sticks to the right. I checked manual operation and found that it was sticking to the left and would not return back to the center position. All A new scheduled electrical outage will occur on Wednesday 26 July. I have been told that it may last from 2 to 4 hours, most likely 2 hours. No electrical generation will be available. Make sure all fish holding areas (sample tanks, raceways etc.) water is at an acceptable level to keep the fish safe. I have negotiated again 0800 on 26 July to start the outage, but experience from the last outage (Dave Sears remember???), a middle of the night 15 minute warning may be all we get. I updated the database file to GOJ06193.DB. The PC clocks are within 4 seconds of each other and 19 seconds of atomic time. 07/10/2006 15:23 Troy A GMC was performed 7/10/2006. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. The current gate pressures are: A Gate Air Pressure 90psi B Gate Air Pressure 85psi 3 Way Air Pressure 80psi The separators were stick tested with 10 sticks each. The sticks were retreived at the dewatering station upstream from the SbyC gate due to SbyC being off. Results of the test following: A1 10/10 A2 10/10 A3 10/10 A4 10/10 B1 10/10 B2 10/10 B3 10/10 B4 10/10 Four sticks were missed during the retrival process and were read on C1- C4 and 91-93 on their way to the river. All sticks diverted properly. The SbyC gate was found in good working order with an air pressure of 85psi. The computers continued to function for somewhere between 45 and 50 minutes after the PLC logged the first power outage in GOJ06177.102 at 3:46:52AM (PST). I do not know why the uninterruptible power supply was not recharged seven hours later when the power was cut again at ~1:15PM (in GOJ06177.105). Upon arrival the power was in the process of being turned off to switch from generator power to line power. The PC went down at 1:30 PST and were back up at 1:45 PST. File GOJ06177.105 was manually pushed. PC1 is 40 sec's ahead of atomic time and PC2 is 24 sec's ahead of atomic time. All the transceivers were checked for tuning and noise. 10 diversion test sticks were passed through both the "A" and "B" sparator monitors with 100% detection and diversion, with the exception of one stick on the "B" spearator that was passed as the site was sampling and Divert during sample was off. The PC clocks are within 40 seconds of atomic time and 7 seconds of each other. Upon my arrival I found that the gate was opening but then slamming shut. I found that needle valve in the front part of the RAM had fallen out. I was able to use a needle valve from a different RAM. the valve was replaced and the gate was adjusted. Sticks were passed through the "A" monitor to chekc timing. The window was also reduced in size and relocated on the screen from its normal position; resizing and repositioning the window to its correct location was also time consuming. Found the gate stuck in the closed position. Problem was remedied by grinding down the leading edge of the flume section where the gate and flume join preventing the gate from binding up. In the process of troubleshooting, removed air cylinder and yoke pin, found the cotter key for the clevis pin was nearly broken and one of the rear shock absorbers loose. Replace cotter key and tighten shock , removed rubber grommet that the cylinder slides through to avoid further problems. This grommet has been a cause of inconsistent gate behavior in the past and serves no real purpose. Gate activity returned to normal at ~ 10:35 pst. I arrived and checked the gate for operation and found that within 3 or 4 cycles of the gate it did not shut and timed out. After some discussion with Troy Humphrey the solenoid was checked for a plug on the "B" side of the solenoid, the solenoid was replaced and the gate was then tested. The gate was cycled by the test button for 100 cycles and then 54 sticks were passed through the monitor and over the gate. The gate worked without any timing out and banging shut. 16:37:57 01/04/2006 11:14 Dave When GOJ05362.106 was originally submitted to PTAGIS on Dec. 28, it generated a NET-ANOM error because of four timer tag detections on antennas F1 and F2 at the new ADULT RETURN monitor. These antennas were not identified in ptagis3.site_coil for GOJ-130 when the data file was processed. The timer tag records were generated for diagnostic purposes only and should not have been submitted to PTAGIS for processing. After consulting with Darren and Alan, I have taken the following steps to remove this NET-ANOM error message from the data file audit process. 1) I edited the GOJ05362.106 file and commented out the four timer tag detections on coils F1 and F2, and documented my activity in the file. 2) I updated the fd_submit and fd_file records in ptagis3 for GOJ05362.106, changing the attmpt_status value from 'NET-ANOM' to 'LOADED'. 3) I removed the GOJ05362.106.err file. The new F1 and F2 antenna definitions will be included in GOJ configuration #140.
