Moved utility pc from the FB enclosure to the SW. Documented all network connections, reset the watchdog bit in HMI , stopped and started all M4 services. M4 is back online controlling gate functions. When arrived the MicroCell was not working. Cycled power on the unit and waited but still no service. Some logic was changed in the PLC to prevent this from happening. The PLC will only look for a heartbeat from M4 if AC power is on. ie site power not UPS power. The gates were tested using MM then M4 was given control of the gates at 11:00 PDT. Several test were conducted on the PLC and M4. The test results will be written up. Site personnel were informed of the mode switch in the pit tag room and M4 was left in control of the gates. All files on M4 were archived and auto upload will be turned on once word is received that the data base is ready for them. Files on PC2 were archived. I noticed when viewing the live data on Multimon that full flow transceivers 01 and 02 (2020 transceivers) are auto tuning occasionally (every minute or so). I don't believe that this is impacting tag reading performance. Will continue to monitor the performance and possibly set the phase deviation threshold slightly higher. There are no problems to report. 05/16/2012 06:09 Troy re-submitting yesterdays pitevent: A the site 05/15/2012 to inspect the gates and check on the counters installed last week. Counters were put into the PLC to count the # of divert request vs the # of gate openings for both A and B gates. Prior to the adjustment A and B gate were getting ~ 2 to 3 divert requests per fish. Multimon delay times were adjusted for B gate. After the change and a week of operation A gate had 14528 divert requests vs 5419 gate openings or ~ 2.68 divert requests per fish. B gate had 7213 divert requests vs 4372 gate openings or ~ 1.65. The improved performance on B gate warranted the changing of the delay times in Multimon for A gate. The map file which had the following times for A gate ( 325,150,10,1 ) was changed to ( 395,252,125,1 ). These new times were the min times found from B1 to B4, B2 to B4 and B3 to B4 last week and seem to be helping the "by catch" issue. PSMFC cleared the counters and will check next week to see if there is an improvement on A gate. As always DGE will be closely monitored on a daily basis. No problems to report, the gate are working well. No sticks were thrown due to high fish traffic and good efficiencies. The AC was found to be turned off in the pittag room.
