    The Diversion by code system was completed 5/7/97 and is now operational.

    This mssg is in reference to problems encountered during the installation
    of the diversion by code system on 4/30/97.
    A bad Eprom was found to be the cause of no communication from the Binary
    hi speed controller during the initial installation. The grj spare eprom
    was used but has a controller I.D of 14 . The previous address was 00. This
    I.D. can only be changed by reprogramming the eprom. Per Carter S, This is
    not a problem.

    PPP on grasun dialing out continuously so it was disabled yesterday.
    Data collection is continuing on a normal basis.

    Diversion by code platform was completed on 4/30. Pittag fish are not being
    diverted as NMFS is waiting on permits. When the proper permits are aquired
    PSMFC will activate the process.

    Installed Unix/Multimon collection platform and is operational as of
    4/24. Visited site on 4/25 due to a failure to Close all When Close all
    command was issued. The cause of this was due to a Typo in the command path
    in multimon.
