    There seems to be a problem with the polling process that keeps trying to
    reestablish a ppp connection at this site. GRX and GRJ are cued up waiting
    for this process to complete which it never does. Todd is correcting the
    problem.

    NMFS Faxed over the stick test results for the Adult trap.
    All coils on both the east and west flumes read 10 of 10 stick tags.
    100 percent.

    Loaded new data base file gra98259.DB on 9/16/98 at approx. 1230 pm.

    A new tag data base file gra98236.db was loaded on the data collection
    machines on 8/31/98 at approx. 1200 hrs. Also inserted 090 tag code with an
    action code of 20 which is a divert code. This allows NMFS personell to
    test the diversion gate once per week.

    All coils read 100 percent of the ten sticks that where thrown.

    Eliminated the pcnfs authentication process and adjusted the delay time
    from 180 sec to 300. No probelms to report during general maint. check.

    The problem with the upload process has been corrected. Modem in Gladstone
    was not hanging up.

    Added a 090??????? stick tag to the data base in order for NMFS Tto check
    diversion by code operation weekly. This will allow them to trip the
    flip gate by rubbing a stick on the coils.
    General maintenence check found no other problems.

    Ken McIntyre reports Granite adult trap was shut donw this AM due to the
    same leak that was to have been fixed last week. No PIT interrogations
    until further notice.

    Lower Granite adult trap watered up 3/25/98 12:30 PST per Harmon. PIT
    interrogation equipment is operational and collecting timer tag info.
