This operation is necessary due to Multimon's reliance on an internal timer and Window's refusal to fully ignore the jump to/from DST. 10/11/2002 14:31 Dave I updated the database to GRA02284.DB. The revised db contains six additional UI-DST (AC-46) codes. I also synchronized the clocks on both PCs to "real" time. 10/03/2002 09:13 Dave I updated the database to GRA02276.DB. I also reloaded the 31 tags in the GRAsbycode19JUL-26JUL.txt; these were apparently processed previously in PC rather than UNIX mode, and were not included in SbyC lookup lists generated since August 1. After making these corrections, I updated the database with the latest list of tags submitted by UofI. GRA02254.DB, containing 8864 records (including 918 UI-DST, AC-46, tags) has been instantiated on both GRA SbyC computer platforms. The clocks on GRA-PC1 and GRA-PC2 are within nine seconds of each other, and within 46 seconds of "real" time. 09/03/2002 14:11 Dave Updated database to GRA02246.DB, containing nine new UI-DST (AC-46) tags. All coils on the East and West flumes, both 400Khz and 134.2 Khz detected 100 percent of the stick tags tested. Will inform Ken Thomas that in the future, we need clarification from him on the hand-pass diversion gate test to ensure that the gates are diverting fish. 04/15/2002 09:42 Dave On Friday, 4/12, I updated the GRA database, with 10 additional UI DST fish, to GRA02102.DB. 04/12/2002 08:59 Darren_C A General Maintenance Check was performed on sites Monday (4-8-02). Sticks were passed through separator coils to check efficiencies and gate timing. A timer tag was replaced on coil A4 at GOJ. The ignor.tag file was updated to reflect the new timer tag. 04/12/2002 08:28 darren@p B4:TestTagFailure: Alarm was generated by PSMFC personnel while performing site maintenance. 04/08/2002 14:46 Dave I asked Jerry Harmon to reboot both GRA PCs so I could pcA into them and update the map and database files (GRA02098.MAP and GRA02098.DB, respectively). The new database contains 528 tags (400 kHz ) that are or will be associated with DST radio tags. I updated the platforms at ~2:30pm today, effective immediately. 04/02/2002 08:59 Scott_Li Ken Thomas ran stick test on facility April 1, 02 . Looking at the stick tag detection report, looks as if coil 04 is dead. Will address on the next site visit, should be later this week... All other coils read 100 percent of the stick tags tested. 03/27/2002 12:13 Dave Site appears to have lost power at ~8:30pm last night; rebooted 8 minutes later. pcA'd in today and invoked PTTP. Manually uploaded queued files. 03/26/2002 10:21 Dave Visited Site. Installed AboutTime on GRA-Util. Timer Tag associations for 0B0B010D0E, 0B0B010D01, 0B0B010D02, 0B0B010D08, 0B0B010D0D at GRA Coil 04 were removed. Timer Tag associations for 0B0B040E0B, 0B0B040E07 were removed at GRA for coil 10. Timer Tag associations for 0B0B080108, 0B0B08010B, 0B0B080101 at GRA for coil 14 were removed. 03/06/2002 10:03 Scott_Li Site interrogation computers have been stripped of clutter within the Multimon and it's subdirectories. Multimon ver 8.02 has been loaded along with the Generic HW , Map and DB files. The new naming convention for these default config. files will be < sitecode >- GN8.HW1 or appropriate extention. The 8 refers to Multimon Ver 8.02. The Sites are online creating 8 files per day and submitting files 8 times per day. All generic files that have been recreated have been uploaded to the PSMFC FTP server for storage. One note, Hardware files are being completely regenerated and saved with the 8.02 format. Dave Marvin is creating the 8.02 Map files. For GRA, facility funtionality was completely evaluated for diversion gate control, Timer tags ISO/400 all were successfully fired. The adult trap was watered up on March 4th at ~10 am. 03/06/2002 08:59 Dave Retrieved, renamed (inside & outside), and resubmitted GRA02064.101-103 as GRA02064.901-903 to replace similarly-named files overwritten due to installation and update of Multimon at GRA yesterday. We now have complete and contiguous records of interrogation activity at GRA since midnight on March 4, prior to activation of the weir and trap sometime on the morning of the 4th. 03/04/2002 14:48 Scott_Li NMFS called this morning and indicated that the Adult trap has been watered up today. Not sure of exact time, will find out details on the site visit scheduled for tomorrow. Ken Thomas did fax over a stick tag report with the following results. All 400 coils both east and west flumes detected 9 of 9 stick tags that tested. All ISO coils detected 8 of 8 stick tags that were tested. 02/26/2002 16:17 Dave I modified the etc/sites file and removed the third parameter ([site]sun). This was apparently defeating the file-check process. Warnings will now be posted if the site has not been heard from in more than six(?) hours. ####End of Event Log for GRA###
