All transceivers were checked and adjusted for tuning, noise, and detectability. The "whip" on the trap gate was replaced, the previous whip had broken off, and the transceivers and antennas for coils 16 and 14 were inspected for any brake down of the cables and antenna wires, none were found. I adjusted both transceivers individually as well as together. There is no indication of any problems with either system. The files on PC2 were archived. Troy discovered the problem with remoting into the PLC, the big UPS had the same IP address as the PLC, the address was changed and Troy tested the remote access. All transceivers were tuned. Upon arrival, transceivers 12-18 were all in sync with 12 as the master. I shot-gunned the sync cables to try to eliminate the xcvr 14-16 inconsistency. After the cable swap, 14 would not deliver a sync signal to 16. after some power cycling, 14 then started to deliver a sync signal. Transceiver 14 was replaced due to a flaky sync out. Files on PC2 were archived. PC2 was adjusted to within one second of PC1. Both PCs are seven seconds behind atomic time. Seated connector which should solve the problem. PC1 is 4 seconds behind atomic time. PC2 is 17 seconds behind atomic time. Tried to establish comm's with the PLC from the Util and was not able to. PSMFC will have to contact tech support on this issue as the 'fixes' from the last tech support call appear to no longer be working. Hopefully this can be done remotely from the Kennewick office. No problems found. 04/04/2011 12:13 Scott_Li Called Qwest about the 25 minute outage, They indicated that there is no issue with the T-1 line and no indications that it was having issues. Trouble ticket will be left open for 24 hrs. The one thing that might have happen was that there was an outage in the network room and then the UPS for the media converter and router died cutting off all devices downstream of the converter. All things are back up and reporting. All transceiverse were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. The PLC and HMI have been upgraded and testing is complete. Some AC POWER ON/OFF messages were used for testing and should be ignored. All messages from here on out should be considered valid. The trap is schedlued to water up on Monday. Some wire mold was replace which required the testing on comm's to each device as fiber was/is in the wire mold. During testing it was discovered that the data was not showing up on PC2. 2 reboots later the problem resolved itself. It was notice that there was some tension on the 25 pin cable, that tension was relieved between reboot 1 and 2 which may have been the culprit. A Ethernet switch was install in the PIT Tag room but has yet to be connected to the platform. It is currently connected to the PLC, HMI and sonicwall. Testing was done to ensure comm's with the platform so all switch states were toggled save for the trap disposition. No problems to report. All appeared to be in tacked and solid. Was somewhat difficult to tell the absolute state of these connections but am confident that there is solid continuity between the terminals and the antennas. We did find a plastic poly type pipe wedged in the the weir upstream of orifice antenna 04 and will request that the COE have this removed. At this time PTAGIS staff had no way of removing it.
