After the switch-over, one AC-255 stick was thrown into the separator monitors. An AC-255 stick was hand passed over the C-Gate and both AC-255 & 254 sticks were hand passed over the D-Gate. All gates functioned as expected. During this visit, all transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. Both Multimon PCs are 36 seconds behind atomic time. No problems found. 09/12/2012 10:27 Alan Site personnel report that the JFF will experience power outages, most likely three, lasting for ~20 minutes each 9-13-2012. The outages are scheduled to begin at 17:30 PDT and should be completed within 3-4 hours. The facility will remain in 100% sample for the duration of the outages. 09/10/2012 08:18 Troy M4 was changed to 60 min files and uploads every 30 mins. This was done on the hour. 09/05/2012 13:34 Troy At the site 09/05/2012 to load the Coil to Coil or C2C logic into the PLC so that either MM or M4 can have control of the gates. All three HMI's were loaded with new programs as well. Air was shut of momentarily to the slide gates to ensure the site stayed in 100% sample. One stick each was thrown on A and B gates to make sure the DDS funtion still worked. 20 sticks were thrown on the 2 way and 3 way gates. All sticks were diverted properly. E gate was not tested as the Raceway 10 is de-watered. There was a problem with the SbyC HMI in that is will not reset counters. Several attempts were made to fix this problem with no luck. PSMFC will try and replace the HMI on the next site visit. I remotely accessed the PLC and found that sensor two appears to either be dirty or misaligned in that it 'chatters' on/off when the gate is activated. A and B gates were test fired several times to test the anti-slam functionality. All times look good. E gate was not fired due to the facility being in Bypass and fish densities being where they are needed. Efficiencies are high on this gate. The air pressure seemed a little low but without being able to test it and the Sep Op assuring me it was working good it was left where it was. The two and three way gates were test fired and no problems were found. A change to the HMI program was implemented at the Sep Op's request. The screen saver was turned off. They have the ability to turn off the back light with a push of a button. It was encouraged that they do so when they don't need the screen. The Sep Op reported that the Sample gate was still firing during a power outage. This was looked into and proved to be right. Due to the complexity of this site it was decided to disable all outputs except the Gate Trouble light if AC Power was not detected, this effected the following rungs. 27,29,34,85,87,92,117,142,144,149,182,184,189,195,196,200, and 203. The SLC Comm's failure was investigate and it was found that PC 1 didn't recognize that it had a serial port. A reboot of the PC fixed this problem. GRJ12083.205 was the gap file.
