    This is the last entry for GRX.  When Lower Granite JFF waters up in
    Spring 2000, all of the coils and gates formerly associated with GRX
    will be assimilated into the GRJ site.

    The PIT tag interrogation equipment was shut down at or after 7:00AM
    PDT and has been taken out of service.  This is part of the scheduled
    conversion from the 400 kHz PIT tag to the new 134.2 kHz ISO compatible
    tag.  Facility interrogations will resume (at the new frequency) when
    the collection site waters up in Spring of 2000.

    I called Pete when GRX failed to answer the phone and noting it had not sent
    in files since yesterday morning.  He found an exception error for Multimon
    at 0028:c3708557 in VxD.  He hit the enter key and the computer rebooted.
    I dialed in and everything looked okay.

    Laplinked in to send files.

    Found PC1 locked up with an exception error at address:0028:c10bd0ce from
    the .VDX. This was discovered on Saturday May 30th. Rebooted pc and tried to
    send files to Gladstone but could never connect. Sandy Downing reloaded
    mailer version 2.2c at this site on May 20th. Sandy to reload ver Mailer
    ver 2.2.

    Asked SMP Doug to again reboot computer. Data file mailer again was not
    connecting or sending files. The attempt to send files was successful after
    the reboot. The problem could lie within the modem itself. Replacing the
    modem may be an option to try and correct the problem.

    Installed Multimon ver. 6.04 to prevent loss of system redundantcy if the
    file server is not accessable to the PC 2.PC1 is a Windows based platform.
    Copied GRX99131.map to PC2 per Sandy D request. Removed Timer tag on coil 96
    for use at GRA. This will be replaced on the next site visit.
