EVENT LOG FOR SITE HYC Most recent activity to be listed first. First line of each entry lists date, time and who is reporting. Subsequent lines of each entry aligned under Time column. Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What ---------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 12/20/2009 10:56 Mike Site operations are normal. Recent warmer weather has receded the ice along the banks of Hayden Creek. There remains approximately 18 inches of ice extending from the bank into the stream channel. 12/02/2009 08:07 Mike Site operations are normal. The Hayden Creek screw trap, located just above the array site, has been pulled until March of 2010. No releasing of PIT tagged fish should result in reduced interrogation activity at HYC over the next few months. Ice is slowly building along the banks of Hayden Creek. 11/22/2009 12:00 Mike Site operations are normal. Water temperatures are hovering near 0°C and discharge is dropping on Hayden Creek. 10/18/2009 06:57 Mike Site operations normal. Hayden Creek discharge and debris have risen due to weather conditions and the end of the irrigation season. 09/29/2009 12:52 Mike Site operations normal. Water levels remain low and water temperatures have dropped to 8 degrees Celsius. A few PIT tags , not currently associated w/fish, have been discovered in the detection field. These tags are increasing noise levels, resulting in test tags not being stored in the buffer. We are hoping to find or eliminate these tags soon. Buffer erased on 9/27/09 at 0618. 09/14/2009 09:40 Mike Site operations normal. However, PIT tagged fish continue to reside in the detection field and are influencing our detection capabilities and the ability to read and store test tags. Buffer erased on 9/12/2009 at 0742. 09/07/2009 08:33 Mike HYC is operating normally. Serial cable was replaced on August 31 at 1139 with no interruption to the interrogation process. 09/02/2009 12:50 Mike The HYC site is operating normally. However, several PIT tagged fish are hanging around the antennas increasing noise levels. This may have been a result of IDFG crews conducting an electro-fishing survey near the array site on August 31. Seventy anadromous fish were PIT tagged and released just below the antennas. 08/25/2009 07:26 Mike Site operations normal. Stream flow and debris remain low despite recent heavy rain and wind storms. 08/21/2009 08:05 Dave Initial entry for Hayden Creek, which was activated on August 19, 2009. -------------------------------------------------------------------- myhosting.com - Premium Microsoft® Windows® and Linux web and application hosting - http://link.myhosting.com/myhosting ####End of Event Log for HYC###
