All the transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detection ability. After investigating the test tag failures for detection system A3 I found that the timer tag voltage potentiometer was adjusted to minimum voltage as well as the system being de-tuned slightly. I readjusted the voltage and retuned the system and checked the hit rate which was at 100%. The PC clocks were adjusted to 1 second of atomic time and each other. 07/31/2006 07:45 darren@r A3:TestTagFailure: Alarm will be investigated during the next site visit. 07/26/2006 10:30 troy@ruf 04:LowExcCurrent: This will be looked into on the next site visit. 07/25/2006 10:15 troy@ruf 04:LowExcCurrent: This alarm will be addressed on the next site visit if it isn't adjusted remotely. 07/19/2006 09:03 darren@r A3:TestTagFailure: Alarm has been noted and will be addressed on the next site visit. 07/18/2006 11:09 Dave Re-activated auto-upload on PC1 and transferred all outstanding files. Archived all outstanding files on PC2. PC clocks are within 2 seconds of each other and 12 seconds of atomic time. 07/14/2006 13:22 Scott_Li The auto upload process was disengaged until further notice due to the scheduled outage of the central database. The sites will not upload files until possibly Monday the 17th or 18th or when the central database resumes normal operations.. 07/12/2006 11:10 Troy_Hum I PCA'ed into PC2 and lowered the current alarm threshold from 4600 mA to 4300 mA as the current of this antenna is running at 4600 mA. 07/12/2006 09:29 darren@r 0A:LowExcCurrent,A3:TestTagFailure: These alarms will be addressed on the next site visit. The alarm on 0A can be addressed via PCA. 07/11/2006 14:00 Troy A site GMC was performed (07/11/06). All transcievers were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. The 'stick hatch' just prior to 01 was opened to see if the light has any effect on fish orientation which may possibly improve efficiencies. The hatch was opened at approximately 1:45 pm PDT. PC1 was found to be 1 min and 3 seconds behind atomic time. It is now 1 second behind atomic time. PC2 was found to be 30 seconds behind atomic time. It is now 2 seconds behind atomic time. 07/10/2006 08:20 alan@ruf 0B:TestTagFailure: No apparent reason for this alarm. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 07/09/2006 11:24 troy@ruf A3:TestTagFailure: Noted. This antenna is reading at high efficiencies. 07/08/2006 10:10 troy@ruf 03:BadOscFreq,A3:TestTagFailure: These alarms will be addressed on the next site visit. They are reading tags. 07/07/2006 16:55 Scott_Li The problem with the COE DNS server has been corrected. PCA'd into sites and returned the URL in the uploader back to the default. Sent diagnostic test PTAGIS server to check for typo's, tested good. 07/06/2006 12:49 scottl Retuned antenna A4 due to excessive noise levels. No other issues to report. 07/06/2006 12:41 scottl Due to an unknown DNS look up problem appearently at the COE distict, not confirmed but suspected, the uploader client URL was changed from FTP.PTAGIS.ORG to the I/P address in order to circumvent the above issue. The data collection pc's will stay in this configuration until the issue is resolved. Will follow up with COE-NWP CIS help desk for resolution. 07/02/2006 08:54 darren@r A3:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be addressed on the next site visit. 06/27/2006 07:54 darren@r 0A:LowExcCurrent,A3:TestTagFailure: A site GMC was performed yesterday and all the transceivers were tuned about the timeframe of the alarm. 06/26/2006 16:28 Scott_Li Performed GMC, retuned and calibrated all transceivers, only problem to report is unit 0A has been intermittently problematic with excessive noise levels. When arrived, the unit noise levels were at 6-12 percent. This is a little elevated but not excessive. Adjusted the exciter voltage pot to ensure the PS was not in oscillation. This is an orifice style antenna so if problem persists and it looks as if the antenna or connector may intermittently failing, we may have to live with the situation until water down of the ladder occurs this fall. The detection efficiencies for this unit are still very acceptable, will monitor. 06/24/2006 10:55 scottl@r A3:TestTagFailure: noted 06/21/2006 12:42 Troy A GMC was performed 06/21/06. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjustments were made where needed. 0A has been experiencing noise, the noise can be tuned out but eventually returns. The transciever was replaced to see if it is transciever related. The original 0A will be returned to PSMFC's Kennewick office and the new transciever will be monitored to see if similar noise issue occur with time. 06/19/2006 08:38 scottl@r A3:TestTagFailure: Will adjust TT voltage on the next visit.. 06/18/2006 10:34 troy@ruf A3:TestTagFailure: Noted 06/17/2006 10:29 troy@ree A3:TestTagFailure: Noted 06/14/2006 11:12 Darren A site GMC was performed today (6-14-06). All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detection ability. I found that antenna 0A was elevated in noise and I was not able to tune the noise out of the system. I checked the connection at the junction box out by the antenna but did not see anything that would lead to noise. I reseated the connector and checked the noise again and found it to back to an acceptable level. No other problems were found. The PC clocks were checked and were within 40 seconds of atomic time and 4 seconds of each opther. 06/07/2006 08:21 alan@ree A3:TestTagFailure: No apparent reason for this alarm. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 06/06/2006 08:30 troy@ree A3:TestTagFailure,A4:TestTagFailure: These alarms will be looked into on the next site visit. 05/31/2006 07:47 darren@r 03:HighTemp,A1:TestTagFailure: The test tag failure was caused by PSMFC personnel. The high temp alarm will be addressed on the next site visit. 05/30/2006 18:35 Darren_C A site GMC was performed today (5-30-06).
