Upon log in, a windows dialog box reported that the PC had recovered from a blue screen. File ICH09274.M9 was created from PC2 data to fill the gap and submitted manually. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 09/22/2009 07:47 alan@bay 05:TestTagFailure: This was adressed yesterday during a site visit. 09/21/2009 10:24 scottl@b 05:LowExcCurrent,05:LowLithium,05:Overrun: Replaced xcvr due to suspect SRAM failure. Unit was in an alarm, locked up state when arrived. Constant beeping noise. Replaced xcvr, tuned , set comparator and checked equalizer. Set all internal reports to the standard production settings. Replaced lithium battery in new unit due to lithium failure at boot up. 09/15/2009 12:29 Darren A site GMC was performed today 9-15-09. All transceivers were checked and adjusted for tuning, noise, and detectability. I inspected the antenna housing of 0A and tried a few things from up top to see if what ever is in, under, or around the antenna could be "scared" away from the field. The noise levels were in the high 90-100% when I arrived. I adjusted the exciter power to a minimum (3.6A) and adjusted the alarm threshold. This allowed the noise to drop to the middle 30-60%range and a tag could be read. The noise did not however completely diminish. No other problems were discovered during this visit. 09/14/2009 07:46 troy@bay A3:TestTagFailure: Noted 09/01/2009 12:26 Troy A site GMC was performed 09/01/2009. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. 05 was replaced as it was stuck in a boot cycle. The clocks on both PC's were set to within 1 second of each other and atomic time. No other problems to report. 08/29/2009 09:54 Troy By viewing the TT report and CEA report it appears 05 is no longer active. The TT report shows several TT's during the last hours of transceiver life, probably reader resets. PSMFC will replace the transceiver as soon as possible, currently the antenna's above and below are in fine working order. 08/25/2009 07:51 troy@bay A3:TestTagFailure: Noted 08/24/2009 08:43 troy@bay A3:TestTagFailure: This will be investigated on the next site visit. 08/23/2009 08:26 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: This transceiver appears to have drifted slightly out of tune. It will be investigated during the next site visit. 08/21/2009 07:43 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: This transceiver appears to have drifted slightly out of tune. It will be investigated during the next site visit. 08/20/2009 07:52 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: No apparent reason for this alarm. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 08/17/2009 11:58 Darren A site GMC was performed today. All the transceivers , with the exception of 0A, were checked and adjusted for tuning, noise, and detectability. Antenna 0A is still observing some high noise conditions that can not be tuned out although lower than in the past it is still present. No other problems were discovered during this visit. 08/17/2009 07:38 scottl@b A3:TestTagFailure: Noted 08/16/2009 10:49 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: This transceiver appears to have drifted slightly out of tune. It will be investigated during the next site visit. 08/08/2009 08:45 darren@b A3:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be investigated on the next site visit. 08/05/2009 10:24 Darren A site GMC was performed today 8-5-09. All transceivers were checked and adjusted for tuning, noise, and detectability. The files on PC2 were archived. No problems were discovered during this site visit. On a side note antenna 0A is performing more efficiently because the noise appears to be less severe, PSMFC intends on doing a full check of this antenna during the next de-water period for the ladder. 08/04/2009 07:23 darren@b A3:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be investigated during the next site GMC. 08/03/2009 08:04 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: This will be investigated during a site visit this week. This transceiver is reading PIT tags well. 07/30/2009 10:08 troy@bay A3:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be investigated on the next site visit. 07/23/2009 10:14 darren@b A3:TestTagFailure: Alarm will be addressed during the next site GMC. 07/21/2009 13:35 Alan A GMC was performed 7/21/2009. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. 0D was pretty far out of tune, but is now at single digit signal level. Archived the outstanding files on PC2. Both PCs are within one second atomic time. No problems found. 07/15/2009 03:14 troy_hum RIGHT LADDER LEVEL ACTIVE 07/15/2009 02:59 troy_hum RIGHT LADDER LEVEL HIGH OR LT DISCONNECTED 07/13/2009 15:13 Alan A GMC was performed 7-13-2009. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. 0A is showing the usual interference on average from 0 to 40 sig with occasional spikes into the 80s. The temp folders on both PCs were cleared (4 acks on PC1 and 3 acks on PC2). All outstanding files were archived on PC2. Both PCs clocks were set to within one second of atomic time. No undocumented problems found. 07/13/2009 08:32 Scott_Li The data collection computers are not responding and are not accessible via PCA. Will be at the site this morning and correct the situation. 07/12/2009 08:34 Troy Manaully pushed ICH09193.B1. Cleared the temp directory even though there were no .zip files. 07/11/2009 09:23 Troy Manually pushed ICH09192.B1 and emptied the temp directory. 07/08/2009 11:21 scottl Performed site GMC, all transceivers were re tuned and calibrated as necessary, no problems to report other than antenna 0A still has extremely elevated noise levels due to some unknown interference. The transceiver is still detecting PIT tags and the read range checked at the transceiver has greatly diminished. Will continue to monitor situation as there is not much that could be done at this point. 07/05/2009 09:17 troy@bay A3:TestTagFailure: Noted. 07/04/2009 09:01 troy@bay A3:TestTagFailure: Noted 07/02/2009 08:52 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: No apparent reason for this alarm. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 06/29/2009 08:09 Alan Manually pushed ICH09180.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA (and cleaned out the temp folder without incident). 06/27/2009 08:05 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: No apparent reason for this alarm. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 06/27/2009 07:48 Alan Manually pushed ICH09178.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 06/25/2009 08:42 alan@bay 0A:LowExcCurrent: This alarm was generated by PTAGIS Field Operations personnel during a site visit. 06/25/2009 08:31 Scott_Li Pushed delinquent data files to PTAGIS, tried to vie the log file to see why the FTP transaction had failed during two previous upload attempts. The file was very large and was bogging down the PCA session. Deleted over 1000 temp files and unchecked the Save Acknowledgment files. Will monitor. 06/23/2009 15:36 Darren A site GMC was performed today 6-23-09. All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detectability and with the exception of antenna 0A no problems were discovered. Antenna 0A is experiencing very high noise that appears to be directly related to something outside (in the ladder). I don't believe that the antenna is failing because the Drive Current has not diminished. I inspected the galley for any possible signs of interference but when the 09 antenna was attached to the 0A transceiver it was not noisy and could be tuned. This phenomenon has appeared once before on this antenna this year but as suddenly it appeared it disappeared and seem to travel to antenna 0D. PSMFC thought that it could be a shed PITtag that was not readable thus causing high noise but no current drop. The noise seems to have traveled upstream to 0A, there is a diffuser screen located in front of 0A so it may still be a tag of sorts that is in a spawned out fish. 06/19/2009 15:29 Darren A site GMC was performed today 6-19-09. All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detectability and adjusted as necessary for optimum efficiency. No problems were discovered during this visit. 06/13/2009 09:54 scottl Manually pushed delinquent data files, removed 1500 + files from the PTTP temp folder and unchecked the save ack file box. Will monitor 06/12/2009 08:34 alan@bay 02:TestTagFailure: This has been addressed. 06/10/2009 08:21 scottl@b 01:LowExcCurrent,02:LowExcCurrent,02:TestTagFailure,09:LowExcCurrent,09:Te stTagFailure,0A:LowExcCurrent: Errors were likely generated during a GMC, will monitor. 06/09/2009 12:12 Alan A GMC was performed 5/26/2009. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. Transceiver 01 was replaced because of limited signal and current performance possibly due to a bad power supply. Transceiver 09 has a broken timer tag switch. A jumper was put in place to keep it going for now, but the hardware needs to/will be replaced during a later visit. Regarding transceiver 0A's noise (100% upon arrival), I swapped the antenna cables between 09 and 0A. 09 drove both antennas without trouble. 0A tuned up with a signal of 4-6% after replacing the cables. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. Outstanding files on PC2 were archived. The clocks on both PCs were set to within one second of atomic time. No other problems found. 06/04/2009 11:37 Darren A site GMC was performed today 6-4-09. All transceivers were checked for Tuning, Noise, Detectability. They were adjusted for optimal detection ability when necessary. 05/31/2009 09:40 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: No apparent reason for this alarm. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 05/28/2009 08:39 alan@bay A3:TestTagFailure: A PIT tag was in the field while the timer tag was being tested. 05/26/2009 16:10 Alan A GMC was performed 5/26/2009. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. The files on PC2 were archived. The clocks on both PCs were set to within one second of atomic time. No problems found. 05/19/2009 15:19 Darren A site GMC was performed today 5-19-09. All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detectability. The high noise that has been on 0D detection system seems to have subsided, the transceiver was displaying 50-60% noise when I first arrived but after a few moments of observation it began to degrade back to the point where it was single digits, I was able to tune the system and read tags efficiently. It appears that we may have something i.e. a broken tag, tag that won't read, traveling around the ladder. This was the same situation that we experienced with detection system 0A a few weeks ago. We will continue to monitor this noise and see if indeed leaves the ladder on it's own. 05/18/2009 09:41 darren@b 0D:TestTagFailure,A3:TestTagFailure: Alarms will be investigated during the next site GMC. 05/16/2009 07:59 darren@b 0B:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be investigated during the next site visit. 05/13/2009 10:50 Alan A GMC was performed 5/13/2009. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. The clocks on both PCs (~30sec slow) were set to within one second of atomic time. Archived all outstanding files on PC2. No problems found. 05/10/2009 08:46 Troy PCA'ed in and looked for a .zip file, found none. Pushed delinquent file. 05/09/2009 09:20 PTOC_Bot PCA'ed in and pushed the delinquent file. 05/07/2009 09:45 alan@bay 09:LowExcCurrent,09:Overrun,0A:TestTagFailure: Investigation into these alarms is continuing. 05/06/2009 15:32 Darren A site GMC was performed today 5-6-09. All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detectability. Antenna 0A is exhibiting some of the same traits that we have seen with the original orifice antennas. The noise was severely high when I arrived and it would occasionally drop into the mid 30-40 range. I swapped the antenna cables for 09 and 0A and the noise followed the antenna. I then went out and checked the cable connection in the J-Box above the weir wall. The connection was dry and showed no signs of corrosion. When the antenna was then powered back on the noise started at 90-100 and then after a short period of time was again in the mid 70's with an occasional 30-40. We will have to continue to monitor it's noise levels to see if this drops. The drive current has not dropped. I checked the galley as well as the surrounding area outside and did not see any new possible noise generators. No other problems were discovered during this visit. 05/06/2009 08:39 darren@b 0A:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be investigated today during a site GMC. 05/02/2009 08:40 darren@b A3:TestTagFailure: It appears that the tuning has drifted slightly and will be checked and adjusted during the next site GMC. 04/30/2009 07:43 darren@b A3:TestTagFailure: Alarm will be investigated during the next site visit. 04/29/2009 08:06 darren@b A3:TestTagFailure: This alarm will be investigated during the next site GMC. 04/27/2009 16:01 scottl Performed site GMC, all transceivers were retuned and calibrated as necessary. No unknown problems to report. 04/27/2009 09:45 alan@bay 0A:LowExcCurrent: Clearing Tass. This was addressed yesterday. 04/26/2009 10:49 alan@bay 0A:LowExcCurrent: The current and threshold were both at 4200mA. I remotely lowered the threshold to 3900mA. 04/23/2009 10:41 darren@b A2:LowExcCurrent: There was no apparent cause for this alarm. The exciter current is 300mA above the threshold. 04/23/2009 09:38 Alan A GMC was performed 4/23/2009. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. Data files were archived on PC2. Both PCs clocks (~1 min slow) were set to within one second of atomic time. No problems found. 03/26/2009 15:03 Alan Mark Plummer reports that the Full Flow was watered up at 8:00 PDT 3/16/2009. 03/24/2009 10:38 Troy PCA'ed into PC2 and verified that all FF (A1,A2,A3,A4) transcievers were set to Unique ON. 03/20/2009 15:40 Troy A site GMC was performed 03/20/2009. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjustments made were needed. No problems to report. 03/14/2009 08:27 troy@bay A3:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/12/2009 08:29 troy@bay A3:LowExcCurrent: Noted 03/03/2009 08:27 darren@b A2:TestTagFailure: Clearing TASS. 02/25/2009 15:46 troy@bay 04:LowExcCurrent,07:TestTagFailure,08:TestTagFailure,A2:TestTagFailure: Both ladders are now watered up, clearing TASS. 02/25/2009 13:53 Troy Ammenment to the previous pit-event. While I was down in the pit tag room site personnel started pulling stop blocks. This happened around 1300hrs. A complete site GMC was performed, all transceivers were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. The FF is still de-watered. 02/25/2009 13:22 Troy At the site 02/25/2009 to investigate LEFT LADDER ACTIVE email. It was confirmed that even though the ladder isn't completely watered up there is water flowing through the lower orfices, enough that the level transmitter is reading an acceptable level to consider the ladder ACTIVE. A change to the PLC program was implemented while on site that will eliminate the false positives that were seen earlier this month. A new utility machine was installed and set up for remote PLC access if the need should arise. No other problems to report. 02/25/2009 09:02 troy_hum LEFT LADDER LEVEL ACTIVE 02/14/2009 15:31 troy_hum LEFT LADDER LEVEL LOW 02/14/2009 15:16 troy_hum LEFT LADDER LEVEL ACTIVE 02/06/2009 17:16 File ICH09035.J2 was created on PC2 during PC1's downtime. The current threshold for transceiver 07 was lowered to 3200mA from 3600ma to eliminate the nuisance alarms generated while that ladder is dewatered. The utility PC developed some issues and was brought back to Kennewick for repair. It will be fixed and re-deployed.
