A site survey was performed to ensure that the radios were still working properly and to see if Node 2's signal increased by replacing the battery. There was no obvious increase in signal although the environmental conditions are not good today due to wind and rain. It should be noted that while the signal is not optimal there has been only one comm's loss in 2.5 years and that was due to the wind blowing an antenna down. 04/28/2010 13:55 Alan A GMC was performed 4-28-2010. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. Outstanding files on PC2 were archived. Both PCs were set to within 1 second of atomic time. All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detectability. The noise on antenna 0C was due to an out of tune transceiver. The timer tag issue on antenna 09 was due to the switch on the VTT board being broken. I was not able to replace the board but I made a permanent connection so the switch is in the "on" position. This board will need to be replaced on the next GMC. No other problems were discovered during this visit. 04/22/2010 08:24 darren@b 09:TestTagFailure,0C:TestTagFailure: These alarms will be investigated today during a site GMC. 04/21/2010 08:37 darren@b 09:TestTagFailure: There is no direct cause for this alarm. The transceiver is in tune. This may be a result of the timer tag connector. This will be investigated during the next site visit. 04/13/2010 14:16 scottl Performed site GMC, all transceivers were retuned and calibrated as necessary, no problems to report. 03/30/2010 13:15 Darren A site GMC was performed today (3-30-10).
