EVENT LOG FOR SITE JCJ The first line of each entry contains a date/time stamp & who is reporting. The most recent entry is listed first. Date Time Who ---------- ----- -------- 06/11/2007 16:35 Dave On May 21, power was restored to JCJ, and PIT tag detection (and file creation) activities resumed after an almost 3-day interruption. Power was again interrupted after noon on May 24, and not restored intil after 9AM on May 29. Per my conversation with Charlie Strom today, the Jack Creek facility was finally dewatered on June 1. I've updated the obs_site_dates table to reflect this change in the JCJ end_date value for 2007. 05/18/2007 15:43 Dave I updated the obs_site_dates table to reflect the completion of activities at JCJ, and I disabled site-checking in etc/sites. 05/18/2007 15:37 Scott_Li Per Mark J and Charlie, all fish that were residing in the creek have been flushed out and power to the facility has been shutdown and generators shutoff. PIT tag interrogation is done for the year. Will turn off Big Brother monitoring service for this site. 05/18/2007 08:30 Alan_Bro Manually pushed JCJ07138.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 05/14/2007 09:10 Darren I spoke with Vernon Bogar and Charlie Strom (YIN Cle Elum Hatchery) this morning and they informed me that on Tuesday May 15th the remaining fish at all three (3) acclamation sites will be pushed out of the raceways. They will begin clean up of all sites and will keep us informed as to the status of the facility at Jack Creek with regards to power. 04/27/2007 14:18 Darren_C I manually submitted file JCJ07117.D1. There was no problem with the platform file just didn't submit. 04/26/2007 15:30 Scott_Li Manually pushed delinquent file 116.D from PC1 without issues. 04/11/2007 13:57 Alan_Bro In response to this morning's PC1 troubles: Files JCJ07101.A2, JCJ07101.B2, JCJ07101.C2, JCJ07101.D2, JCJ07101.E2, JCJ07101.F2 and JCJ07101.G2 were submitted manually from PC2. File JCJ07101.H9 was tailored from JCJ07101.H2 to fit the remaining gap and submitted via email. 04/11/2007 09:02 Darren_C I was able to reset the CPU at this location with the help of the on site personnel. The PC had experienced an exception error and had to be rebooted. The file gap will be filled with files from PC2. 03/15/2007 16:44 Dave Numerous detections indicate that volitional release began today. 03/12/2007 08:01 Alan_Bro The six broken fibers in the "B" side FO D-cable were repaired 3/9/2007. The orange and black fibers in the "A" side FO D-cable are still unable to pass light. The connectors were replaced but the break could not be found. This will be investigated further on another site visit. 03/02/2007 16:42 Dave Updated Timer Tag list to reflect current tag codes. 02/28/2007 14:11 Alan A site visit was made on 2/28/2007 to prepare for the upcoming season. Previous year's data was moved to a "2006 Data" subfolder in the MiniMon folder. PCA was restored and verified. The monitors were opened and water was removed, ~1/2" from the A monitor and ~1/4" from the B monitor. The transceivers were tuned. The timer tag for transceiver B1 was replaced, the code is now 3D9.0EEEEEE194. Rodents chewed through eight strands of the FO D-cable in the PIT Tag room patch panel. Communications were restored to the transceivers by switching to the spares. Duct tape was used to keep the pests out until a better solution can be implemented. 20 test sticks were thrown into each monitor, results following: A1 - 20/20 A2 - 19/20 B1 - 18/20 B2 - 18/20 The clocks on both PCs were set to within one second of atomic time, no other problems found. 02/26/2007 08:10 Scott_Li Modified Remote Site Big Brother Host file to include the Jack Creek facility, PC1 and PC2. 01/01/2007 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for JCJ #### End of Event Log for JCJ ###
