When I arrived I found that the site personnel were in the process of removing the remaining fish from above the PITtag detectors. I will confirm the exact with Charlie Strom to mark the end of the seaosn for this facility. No problems were discovered during this visit. 05/15/2008 12:01 Darren PSMFC was informed by Charlie Strom from the Cle Elum Hatchery that the remaining fish in the raceways at each site were forced out yesterday (5- 14-08) with most of the fish leaving the facility through the detectors. However some fish still remain in the creek above the detectors. The sites are being prepared for the end of the season and Charlie will inform PSMFC as to the date and time of when each facility will be considered done for the season. 05/07/2008 13:39 scottl Performed site GMC, asigned asset numbers to electrical enclosures and anthro carts, No problems to report. One note, the Acc. ponds only have one more week of operation until fish are crowded out and the facilities are shutdown for the year. 05/05/2008 08:33 Troy Manually pushed JCJ08126.B1. 04/29/2008 14:43 Darren A site GMC was performed today (4-29-08). All transceivers were checked for tuning and noise. 10 test sticks were passed through both the "A" and "B" monitors with 100% detection. They will keep us informed as to when the first boards will be removed. 03/27/2008 08:23 Alan Created and manually submitted JCJ08086.J9 from PC2 via PCA to fit a gap in data. No activity (other than Minimon time stamps) occurred during the nine minute and one minute gaps on 3/26/2008. 03/26/2008 11:38 scottl The problem with the Starband sat equip. was that the accellerator tunnel was down. Went though a a reboot process 3 times before the accellerator was up and able to submit files. Performed GMC, replaced all internal batteries were replaced. No problems to report. 03/25/2008 08:46 Don_Warf PC1 is currently not sending files and cannot be reached via PCA. It has been verified through PCA that PC2 is collecting data. Site will be visited if remote attempts fail to fix the problem. 03/22/2008 18:33 Alan Manually submitted JCJ08081.P2 through JCJ08082.H9 from PC2 via PCA. 03/22/2008 08:50 Alan I PCA'd into PC1 and found it operational, but Minimon was not running. I reinstatiated Minimon. Data exists on PC2 to fill the data gap, I will patch it when the exact time of the gap is known. 03/20/2008 10:38 Dave Darren reports that, according to Charlie Strom, fish were ponded at Jack Creek on Monday, March 10. I've updated obs_site_dates to reflect a "start_date" of 3/10/08. Charlie also provided a tentative date of 3/31/08 to pull boards and start the volitional release. 03/10/2008 11:50 Darren I was able to contact site personnel to resolve the PC communications. The PC was rebooted along with the Satellite modem and PCA connections were restored. I was able to manually push all delinquent files to PTAGIS. No fish are currently reside at this facility. 03/09/2008 08:35 Troy Attempted to reach site personnel again with no luck. PC2 has been verified to be up and running. I'm able to ping the modem for PC1 but cannot PCA in and it is not submitting files. There is no fish at the facility yet but are scheduled to arrive this week. 03/08/2008 09:11 Troy Unable to PCA into PC1. PC2 is up and running, verified via PCA. More info when availble will be posted. 03/06/2008 12:09 Darren PSMFC was on site today (3-6-08) to replace the UPS's for both PC's and Sat modems. No files were patched because there are no fish currently at this facility. 03/05/2008 12:46 Darren PSMFC was on site to replace one of the transceiver UPS's which was failing and causing the transceivers to reset. I spoke with site personnel and it appears that the power situation is stabilizing. The site will continue to run and if no failures are detected the site plans to receive fish sometime next week. 03/04/2008 09:29 Scott_Li Talked with the Cle Elum Hatchery this morning about the generator problem. The problem with the power is still unstable and the electricians along with the generator mechanic are working to resolve the issue. Fish will not be transported to the facility until the power has proven to be stable. Vernon from the Cle Elum hatchery will keep us informed of the situation. 03/04/2008 07:13 Scott_Li The facility has been having troubles with the propane generators providing constant and stable voltage. Traveled to the site and electricians were on site troubleshooting the problem. The file gaps are directly related to this problem, no fish at the facility until this generator issue is resolved. Will call Charlie Strom and get status on repairs. As of this morning the site has been loading and the problem may have been resolved. More soon. 03/02/2008 08:00 Darren I spoke with Charlie Strom Yesterday about the activities that are going on at Jack Creek. He explained that on Friday morning the generators had stopped running and after starting the generators the facility was dropping power on a frequent basis. They are in the middle of trying to figure out what the problem is with the AC regulation. Charlie has an electrician scheduled to visit on Monday. He also explained that he will deliver fish until he feels comfortable with the facilities ability to produce constant power. 03/01/2008 07:59 Darren The site has not loaded since 2-29-08 at 09:00. I was able to ping PC1 but unable to ping PC2. Big Brother indicates that both systems are on- line but we could have an issue with the PC's or PCA. PSMFC will be on- site on Monday to correct this problem. There are no fish located at this site. The fish are scheduled to be delivered on Monday. PSMFC will continue to monitor this site for the weekend and continue efforts to connect to PC1 and send in the files. 01/01/2008 00:00 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for JCJ #### End of Event Log for JCJ ###
