EVENT LOG FOR SITE 5_JDJ Most recent activity to be listed first. First line of each entry lists date, time & who is reporting. Subsequent lines of each entry aligned under Time column. Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What -------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 12/17/99 11:57 Carter_S The complete ISO site configuration with timer tag information was established in the ptagis3 database today. 12/16/99 13:32 scott_li Edited the send Mail subject line in /multimon/bin/process_data.sh to MULTIMON rather than TESTDATA 11/30/99 13:23 scott_li Modified the process_data.sh file to mail interrogation files to the address : intdata@ptagis.org 10/14/99 15:47 scott_li The ISO system installation has been completed. Data collection was restarted at 11:30 am. The subject line in the send mail process on the sun server was was redirected to TESTDATA rather than MULTIMON. 10/04/99 12:00 davem The PIT tag interrogation equipment was shut down at about 7:30AM PDT and has been taken out of service. This is part of the scheduled conversion from the 400 kHz PIT tag to the new 134.2 kHz ISO compatible tag. Facility interrogations will resume (at the new frequency) when the collection site waters up in Spring of 2000. 10/04/99 08:40 scottl 400 Khz interrogation ended on 10/4/99 at 0728h (PST). 08/13/99 11:07 scott_li Repaired burned connector on Sample room exit exciter, coils 90,91. Installed 402.6 crystal oscillator in the same exciter to reduce noise levels on upstream ISO xceivers. Copied map file 99224.map to PC2 system directory. Dave Marvin install .map on PC1 the day prior. This file contains collection information that will extend the current research project requirements up until the last day in August, 1999. 08/02/99 15:03 scottl Due to loss of T-communications in gladstone, PTOC Maint. personell called site and asked SMP to verify data collection platform was operational. Inserted marker in file for clarification. 07/30/99 09:21 scottl Reconfigured pc2 hardware file to mount the network drive. rebooted pc 07/28/99 13:19 darren Coils 74,76 were running low in effiency.Changed exciter but current on coil 74 did not respond.Checked loop tuner connections and found that the coil had shorted to the monitor.Cut 4 inches off coil wire and checked tuning. When sticks were ran I noticed that pc2 was not registering any tags but pc1 was.Don suggested that I look at the hardware file to make sure the rocketport settings were correct. They were not.I changed the file and reran sticks. Additional annotation ... Darren went out to JDJ last friday 7/23 for maintenence work and discovered that PC2 hardware file contained no communication information in the RocketPort setup field for the 400x controllers but, the ISO system protocol info was configured. Wierd! I know that you loaded a new map file on the pc's around 7/11 for the Hanford fall chinook study that Ken Tippen was doing but that should not have effected the Hardware file.. The below snippet was the last tme Pc2 had written to the network drive and was terminated by someone? Note the time that the file was closed.. &Multimon terminated by user! 99/07/14 19:05:53 Closed D:\JDJ\PC2\LOGFILES\JDJ99195.004 at 99/07/14 19:05:57 07/28/99 13:07 darren 100% 07/15/99 18:00 davem I enabled DBC #71 for Ken Tiffan to collect Hanford wild 0-age chinook. The mods were to take affect on Sunday, July 11 but two unfortunate mistakes negated the Sunday and Tuesday efforts. The system is now operational and will divert up to 30 fish per week for 24-hour collections beginning at 9:00AM on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This being Thursday, fish are being diverted to the PIT collection tank as I type. 06/11/99 17:00 davem SMP personnel report that the JFF was in primary bypass from 10:30 AM June 9 through 10:30 AM June 10. As at all other sites, primary bypass routes all fish away from the sampling facility. There was no opportunity to detect PIT tagged fish at JDA during this period. 06/04/99 15:00 davem I fixed the map to correctly reflect passage of fish in group #61 through the sub-sample and sample room exit routes. 06/02/99 15:00 davem I enabled an additional DBC code (#61) for Unit 7 ESBS evaluation releases between 6/2/99 and 6/4/99, with recoveries through the morning of 6/7/99. 05/21/99 13:00 davem I enabled DBC (diversion-by-code) for two lots of fish to be released in Unit 7 for an ESBS condition evaluation. The codes are #51 and #52. 05/13/99 12:52 scottl It was discoverd that Sub-Sample coils are cross talking with the separator coils therefore skewing the efficiency reports for the Sub-Sample monitor. Separated reader cards within the controllers to minimize the cross talk problem 05/10/99 13:07 dlwarf Loaded Multimon 6.04 on both PCz. Retuned coils 70 to 76 on Subsample. Stick tested at 10 for 10 on all four coils. 05/08/99 08:53 scottl Used telnet session to verify file content of current files being built. Also verfied that the preceding files closed cleanly with the correct footer information. 04/27/99 12:43 scottl Water velocities are at 8.5ft per second 04/27/99 12:40 scottl Checked timing on the 3-way gate. No adjustments needed. The coil delay timings are follows. 00:1000mS, 02:500 mS , 04:200mS, 06:1mS. Coils time delays were checked on an individual bases then as the whole monitor. General maintenence check found no other problems. 04/19/99 13:39 scottl Entry for work done on 99106. Repaired pinched wire inside the solenoid on the 3 way gate. This caused 3-way gate not to divert, Sample was not effected. This was also the cause of communication faults with DTAM interface. 04/13/99 10:51 scottl Replaced Loop tuner and exciter on Sub-Sample monitor coil 74. tested with 100 percent efficiency. 04/07/99 11:43 dlwarf Site personnel report that the site was watered up at 10:30 am today after being down since 1:00 pm on 4/2/99. 03/30/99 12:00 davem Dave and Sandy installed Multimon and SBC database for YIN/UI researchers. Database must be modified with actual collection dates, when that information is available. 03/19/99 08:45 scottl Reinstalled the printed circuit boards in the iso xcievers. The pcb's were sent back to the mfg for modifications relating to noise levels. Performed electrical measurement parameter tests on iso xcievers Upgraded 400x controller firmware. Mounted DTAM cover 03/08/99 10:44 scottl The pcb's from the iso xcievers where removed on thursday 3/4/99 and returned to Destron/Fearing for modifications on friday 3/4/99. 02/22/99 14:32 carters Initial log creation for 5_JDJ ####End of Event Log for 5_JDJ###
