Known issue, clearing TASS. 07/23/2008 15:10 Troy A GMC was performed 7/23/2008. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. 10 sticks were thrown 9 were diverted properly. The following is the stick tag report: A1 10/10 A2 10/10 A3 10/10 A4 6/10 C1-C4 9/9 E1-E2 9/9 81-83 1/1 A4 was re-checked for tune and no apperrent problems were present. The shield box was opened and inspect and all looks normal in there. There is no obvious reason why A4 read so poorly. The DGE report shows the diversion efficiency to be high. PSMFC will monitor. The separator gate was operating well save for a muffler that occassionaly squeeled. The air pressure on the separator gate is 98psi. The air was turned on to the SbyC gate and it was test fired. It did not move, most likely sediment or inactivity. PC1 and PC2 are 6 seconds behind atomic time. No other problems found. 07/21/2008 14:07 Dave The PC clocks, which were one to 1.5 minutes slow, were reset to within one second of each other and atomic time. 07/15/2008 08:36 alan@bay SLC500:CommsFailure: PSMFC is aware of this issue. The PIT Tag in question was diverted properly. 07/09/2008 14:30 scott Performed site GMC, all transceivers were re-adjusted and tuned as necessary, no problems to report. Rotating gate was cycled and noticed that when returning to the center position the gate had a hard squeel. This squeel did not seem to have an impact on performance but is note worthy. PC clocks are within 21 seconds from each other and within ? of atomic time. Problems with the java applet prevented the atomic time from being displayed. 07/08/2008 08:32 darren@b A1:TestTagFailure: This alarm was generated when a PITtag entered the feild during the firing of the timer tag. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. No sticks were thrown to minimize bycatch. The separator gate was observed operating and was found in good working order. The air pressure on the separator gate is 98psi. The air was turned on to the SbyC gate and it was test fired. It's performance is sluggish for unknown reasons, most likely sediment or inactivity. It also is slamming on the open cycle. Site personnel report that a shock was removed for use in the separator gate. This gate will be troubleshot further at a later date due to time constraints and no scheduled SbyC activities. PC1 is nine seconds ahead of atomic time, PC2 is nine seconds behind PC1. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. The TT issue with 04 was tune related. A4 and A3 were beating on each other a bit. Coil A3 was moved 1/4" upstream and this seemed to help the situation. 15 sticks were thrown and all were read on the appropriate coils and all were diverted correctly. No problems to report. 06/18/2008 09:15 Scott_Li Transceiver 04 is not firing the timer tag due to elevated noise levels but is still detecting fish at a high rate. No problems found. 06/02/2008 14:39 Dave I updated the map file to JDJ08154.MAP. This version terminates the Latent Mortality Study (LMS) collection at 0700 on Wednesday, as requested by Frank Loge, after which the LMS fish are monitored (SP0) at the 3-way gate. I reset the PC clocks to within one second of each other and atomic time. 06/01/2008 07:10 darren@r SLC500:CommsFailure: an acceptable alarm during high traffic periods. 05/30/2008 10:40 Dave I updated the map file to JDJ08151.MAP, disabling collection of Michelle Rub's Acoustic Tag Evaluation tags (AC-130 through AC-149), as requested by Lyle Gilbreath. If fact, the target numbers of tags had already been collected for all but a couple of the earliest paired releases. The PC clocks are within six seconds of each other and 21 seconds of atomic time. 05/30/2008 07:36 darren@r C3:InputSyncDetect,C3:ReaderReset,SLC500:CommsFailure: Although there was a SLC error the PITtag in question was properly routed through the facility. The other alarms was generated by a random reader reset. 05/28/2008 10:10 Scott_Li Updated the Site I/P address table to reflect the correct addressing 05/28/2008 09:44 Darren A site GMC was performed today (5-28-08). All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise and detection ability. No test sticks were passed through the separator monitor due to the high volume in the system. DGE is reporting gate efficiencies at 99% and 100%. No problems were discovered during this visit. 05/27/2008 08:55 darren@r 82:TestTagFailure,94:TestTagFailure,SLC500:CommsFailure: Clearing old alarms. 05/27/2008 08:24 Alan Manually pushed JDJ08148.102 to PTAGIS via PCA. 05/26/2008 09:09 Dave Updated database and map files to JDJ08146.DB and JDJ08146.MAP, respectively. The new database contains ~4400 AC-93 (LMS-AT) codes; the new map file includes instructions to collect these tags to the East SbyC tank, and removes the 180 tags/day cap for AC-91. SLC-500 Comm errors were generated as I implemented the new configuration on PC1 while PC2 had gate control. All fish were diverted correctly. The PC clocks are within four seconds of each other. 05/23/2008 14:50 Dave With Darren's help, I've installed JDJ08144.MAP, JDJ08144.DB, and JDJ-0600.HW1 and JDJ-0800.HW2 on JDJ-pc1 and JDJ-pc2, respectively. The new SxC schema enables collection of tagged fish for both the Latent Mortality Study (LMS) and Acoustic Tag Evaluation (ATE). I've confirmed that, currently, a few ATE fish are being successfully diverted to the West SbyC tank. Beginning tomorrow morning at 7AM (PDT), all CLWH and up to 180 RAPH fish will be diverted daily into the East SbyC tank, along with any bycatch. 05/23/2008 14:08 Darren PSMFC was alerted to a gate malfunction on the 2-way rotating gate by site personnel while they were preparing for upcoming SbyC diversions. Before PSMFC arrived the site personnel were able to free the gate of all the sediment that had collected since the facility began 08' operations. the 3-way gate was checked for timing but only with a limited number of sticks due to the high volume of fish in the system, the timing does not appear to have changed since the pre-season setup. Timing was also checked on the 2-way gate, then 20 sticks were placed just bove the monitor that controls the 2-way gate to work the gate. Gate operations were good. No other problems were discovered during this visit. 05/22/2008 09:11 Dave (After we got the VPN tunnel on catfish running again,) I pcA'd into JDJ and manually pushed the four outstanding data files. I had to do so individually, possibly due to the size of the files (1.6M - 2.9M). Unique is OFF on the four full-flow transceivers, and tags are pouring through the facility, resulting in large files. 05/20/2008 13:17 Alan A GMC was performed 5/20/2008. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. No sticks were thrown due to heavy fish traffic. The air pressure on the 3-way is 99 psi, the air to the 2-way is off. Multimon is running and collecting files properly on both PCs, but as of 11:00:00 PDT network issues still prevented uploading. No other problems found. 05/19/2008 16:46 Alan I could not submit files manually but did verify that Multimon is functioning. I will be on site in the morning and will address this issue then. 05/16/2008 09:25 alan@ree 03:LowExcCurrent,SLC500:CommsFailure: This alarm occurs occassionaly during high traffic times. The air pressure on the separator gate is 98psi, the air to the 2-way gate is off. The clocks, which had drifted about two minutes slow, were set to within one second of atomic time. File JDJ08134.207 was submitted from PC2 to cover the gap during PC1's downtime. All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise and where applicable detection ability. No test sticks were passed through the separator monitor because of the volume of PITtags moving through the system.
