    The KRS array continues to operate normally.  Currently high flows
    allows for fish passage around each end of the array.  In addition, high
    water also increase the volume of water above the array that is beyond
    the detection limits of the antennas. The site now has satellite
    communications for remote downloading of detections and status reports.
    The site recently was equipped with a temperature sensor, enabling real
    time monitoring of stream temperatures.

    The KRS PIT tag array in the South Fork Salmon River continues to
    operate normally.  A satellite communications system was installed in
    December, 2008 but is not operational at this time due to hardware issues.
