    South Fork Salmon River PIT tag array (KRS) did not have any downtime in
    2011.  However, during high spring flows the pressure transducer cable was
    cut, therefore water temperature and water height data was not recorded
    from
    May 13 through September 29, 2011 when the transducer was replaced.  Sand
    movement continues to be a problem at KRS.  Since installation, high
    spring
    flows deposited sand on top of antennas 1 through 3 while lower summer
    flows
    tend to erode the sand off the antennas.  Currently antennas 1 and 2 are
    completely buried in sand.

    The transceiver ID was corrected on January 29.  KRS tag files are back
    on schedule for auto-upload.

    The transceiver at KRS was replaced and tuned on 1/19/11.  The site was
    non-functional from approximately 1230 to 1630.  However, the
    transceiver ID was not changed to A0, therefor the uploading of tags
    from KRS has been suspended.  The transceiver ID will be corrected
    during the first week of February at which time the uploading of tag
    data will resume.  The tag file collected from since 1/19/11 will be
    corrected to show the corrected transceiver ID and will be upload during
    the first week of February.  Antennas 1 through 3 are still covered by
    sand, the detectability of tags over these antennas are unknown at this
    time.  Antennas 4 and 5 (right bank and the main channel) are mostly
    free from sand and should not compromise tag detections.
