The files that were outstanding loaded on there own at the 15:00PST load time. 09/02/2007 10:03 Darren_C I was able to verify that the Walla Walla district communications are down. According to Lin Ming at Little Goose Dam he received and e-mail yesterday that stated because of a severe storm in Walla Walla there was some damage to a 4 ton Air Conditioning unit at the district office and that the communications would be down until Monday, probably Tuesday because of the Holiday. I will have to verify all platforms with the help of site personnel as best I can. All transceivers were checked for tuning and noise, the full flow was tested for detection ability as well, the timer tag on antenna 11 was replaced. The ignor.tag files were updated on both PC's and it was uploaded to the ftp server. 10 test sticks were passed through both the "A" and "B" separator monitors all sticks were diverted properly. The computer platforms ran on the UPS for the duration, but there was no PIT tag detection during this interval. The new transceiver was installed and tuned as well as the communications verified. 10 diversion test sticks were passed through both the "A" and "B" separator monitors with 100% detection and diversion. No problems were found. 07/19/2007 08:27 Troy Remotely check gate sensor counters in response to a gate failure alarm email received from GRJ which the facility cleared. It appears that A gate received a 'Stuck Open' alarm which generally occurs when there are fluctuations in the air pressure causing the 'soft close' to stick. All appears to be well now. Several sticks were watched and the time on B gate was adjusted(see below). The delay op was shortened and the time open increased. Hopefully this will catch the fish that are swimming with the current and stay open long enough to catch the ones that are fighting the current. After talking to others that have tried various things in order to correct this, the network card was reseated in the PCI slot and the network cable was changed to a different port on the hub. As a quick and dirty performance test, the uploaders on PC1 and 2 started a diagnostics test burn at the same time. Both PCs finished the test upload at the same time in 3 seperated instances. Will monitor situation and take further action if required.To fill the file gap created on PC1 while performing maintenance, file 07116.205 was submitted to PTAGIS as the gap file. 116.105 on PC1 was archived in the local archive directory. Stopped and restarted PTTP-Uploader to get it back on schedule, and then uploaded two outstanding files. Alan was not able to remotely push them from PTTP-Uploader. I pcA'd in and found the screen refresh rate to be very slow on LMJ-PC1. No problems on LMJ-PC2. Finally I tried to FTP the last two outstanding files using Windows Commander, but ran into the same problems. Ultimately, I transferred the last two files to my local PC using pcA's file transfer utility. This transfer was essentially instantaneous; full speed. Whatever the issue is with LMJ appears to be constrained to the Internet channels governing FTP transfers and, to a lesser degree, the pcA Windows screen display refresh. Scott re-assigned the existing transceiver/antenna IDs 01 and 02 on the B-Exit array to 61 and 62. He then mapped RocketPort IDs for the four new Full Flow Bypass antennas, now identified as 01 - 04. The new LMJ-GEN.MAP generic map file reflects these current assignments, both on the local platform and on the FTP server. The ignor.tag file was updated (locally and on the FTP server) to reflect the revised antenna IDS for 61 and 62 and the new antennas 01 - 04. The 2006 data, which had already been archived, were zipped. All prior configuration and log files were deleted. The end-of-year seasonal counters were archived; all other counter files were deleted.
