We were inadvertently blocked and Chris Sampier did not realize that we owned the whole block of addresses. He initially unblocked only one address which allowed us to PCA into the sites but we could not send any data to our servers. After he realized that we needed all the addresses we were able to get in and send the files via PTTP and PCA. We will monitor for the 16:00 upload to ensure that the sites are loading on their own and continue to watch fro any other aspects that may not be working. The sites appear to be functioning properly at this time. 09/18/2008 13:15 Darren_C The PCA connection has been resolved. I think I was having IE issues with the utility machine. The time of the GMC was at 11:00PDT. A site GMC was performed today (7-22-08). All the transceivers were checked for tuning and noise as well as the full flow being checked for detection ability. 10 test sticks were passed through both the separator monitors with 100% detection and diversion. The PC clocks were within 4 seconds of atomic time and even with each other. This includes any PIT-tagged fish last detected after 18:55 (PST) on May 18 with a last detection at the "A-Raceway" or "B-Raceway" antenna group. 05/20/2008 11:26 Dave Sharon Lind reports that LoMo shifted from transportation mode to secondary bypass just after 5:00 PM (PDT) on May 19. Due to high flows and mandatory spill, the barge can't be maneuvered from the locks across the tailrace to the JMF. According to Sharon, secondary bypass will likely continue for several days. During secondary bypass, all fish pass over the separator, enter the JMF, and are then routed directly back to the tailrace. Earlier in the day the assitant bio had adjusted the soft close regulator on A gate as it wasn't closing all the way and then banging when the cylce had timed out. I modified the regulator to stop it from squealing and tested the gate several times after the modification and all appears to be working correctly. PSMFC will continue to monitor these gates on a regular basis. 05/12/2008 10:29 Dave I was notified last week by Bill Spurgeon that Lomo would begin collecting for transportation today, so I've installed the SbyC database and map files (LMJ08123.db and LMJ08123.MAP, respectively) to allow the specified Action Code groups to be ignored at the separator gates and transported with the non-tagged population. All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise and where applicable detection ability. Site personnel had contacted PSMFC in regaurds to the "A" gate banging closed a few times during the evening and early morning. After researching the gate operations PSMFC believed that the tertiuaray time may need to adjusted for more open time. The gate was tested for quite some time with no duplication of the reported problem. The tert time was adjusted from a setting of 10 to 11, when the time was set 12 it was possible to get the gate to bang on the open every once in a while. Transceiver 02 had not previously been flashed and more than likely created a "Net Anom" error when it was brought back online. It was flashed and the current thresholds were reset. Transceivers A3and B3 were replaced. A3 was replaced because after the battery was replaced it lost it's oscillator when the timer tag would fire. B3 was replaced because it had lost it's sync out capabilities. Bill Spurgeon reports that current operations at the JFF consist of bypassing fish to the river until "mid-May" when collection for transport will begin. An avian predation study, currently underway, requires the collection of 100 steelhead per day. The corp will examine these fish three days per week for their own condition analysis. PC1 is 39 seconds behind atomic time, PC2 is 5 seconds behind PC1. I reset the PC2 clock to within 1 second of atomic time. 02/19/2008 10:46 Dave I reset the database file to LMJ_GEN.DB on PC1 only, as I could not connect to LMJ-PC2. The map file was already set at LMJ-GEN.MAP. Cleared the counter files on PC1 and reset the clock to within 1 second of atomic time. 01/16/2008 16:13 Darren I manually pushed file LMJ08016.105 to PTAGIS. 01/15/2008 15:17 scottl An evaluation of PC1 in the K-lab was inconclusive as to why the PC was balled up prior to removing it from service. When arrived onsite, replaced the ethernet cable and reseated the ethernet card in the PC. All test uploads including PCA connection were sucessfull. Syncronized files on both PC's, submitted remaining files from PC2 , then disabled the uploader and returned PC1 as the primary data submission PC. Will monitor PC1 for reoccurring problem. 01/10/2008 14:49 Darren The site was visited today 1-10-08 to try and solve the communication problems that we have been experiencing with PC1. The files were being created correctly but were not being sent to PTAGIS. There was an error on the PTTP uploader. I removed all .zip files in the temp directory and tried to send 25 files, this to failed. I was able to send one file without failure. A test was conducted using PC2 to confirm network function and 8 files were sent without problem. PSMFC personnel were not able to gain full access into PC1 via PCA so the site personnel were contacted and asked to reboot the PC. Upon the next load cycle it was discovered that the files were not numerically correct. The site was then checked and we discovered that Multimon had restarted but did not load a .map or a .HW file. The files were loaded via PCA and the system was restarted several times to get to the right file number. This site has been completly shut down since 1/2/08 when the Full Flow system was de-watered. No PITtag data was lost. 01/03/2008 08:08 Scott_Li Per Bill Spurgeon, the FF pipe was dewatered on January 2, 08 at 09:40 hrs. Had Bill S. reboot PC1 in order to correct upload problem but this did not do the trick. The connection to PC1 is extremely slow. The PC can be remotely accessed but the slow connection prevents any useful navigation. The connection to PC2 is very fast and was easily accessed so the problem appears to be directly related to PC1. Will continue to diagnose and correct the situation. All fish traffic through the entire bypass system has ceased for the year facility.
