The pipe will be back in service sometime around the middle of March of 2010. 12/16/2009 15:00 scottl The DSL connection was completed on 12.16.09 and the DCP's were connected to it at ~ 1430 hrs. The connection appears to be very solid and responsive. Speed test indicate the line is operating at on an average of 110 kbps up and 1.25 mbps down with an average latency of ~ 100 mS. This slight reduction in speed is due to the cooper pair running from the PH to the JFF. If necessary in the future, we can run the DSL connection over fiber to gain abit more bandwidth. The COE network connection has been preserved and is still available if ever needed. Also, the bypass flume was dewatered for the season today at 1420 hrs. At 0900 PST 10-26-2009, data collection was exited and restarted on both PCs to re-establish proper file creation intervals. Files LMJ09299.102 & 103 were the last files created prior to this procedure and were submitted manually. Outstanding files on PC2 were archived. PCA comms were unavailable on PC1. The Transceiver on antenna 01 had some power supply oscillation causing noise but it was easily tuned out. The files on PC2 were archived. All 4 transceivers were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. No one was on site so I could not confirm when the FF watered up but it looks like it may have been on the 18th. Given an error that was on the screen after the start up, the drive maybe going bad and will replace entire system prior to facility water up.
