Will continue to monitor. 10/05/2011 06:14 Scott_Li E-mail from Bill Spurgeon that the fish escapement issue has been resolved Hi Doug, On the "B" side we found the little gate (lower left on photos) agape at dewatering. Remember that when we were looking, trying to figure out how your fish could have been missed, Carol (PSMFC anesthesiologist) found the (Lower left gate?) of the "A" tank with a finger diameter stick under it. What I suspect is that one of the COE technicians (in trying to get every last bit of debris) inadvertently was hooking the perforated gates and raising them. In the case of the one with a stick under it, I suppose that the gate was opened but at some point fell closed. (This is not implausible considering that the gates fit their guides but are really not restricted by those guides in regard to vertical movement). All four of these small gates will receive the rod attachments and securing structures that I mentioned in my email earlier today. I can't imagine that this could leave any chance of this recurring. All transceivers were checked and adjusted as necessary for optimal detection efficiency. 10 test sticks were passed through both the "A" and "B" separator monitors with 100% detection and diversion. The PC clock on PC2 was 1 minute behind PC1 which is with 2 seconds of atomic time. The clock on PC2 was adjusted to match PC1. When i PCA'd into the site I found that Multimon was building file 236.107. I checked for files but there were none in the PTTP uploader for submital. I opened a new file and then files appeared in the PTTP directory. I checked the Data folder and found that Multimon had indeed built a 235.206 file, it opened at 15:00 yesterday but did not close until 06:00 today. THe file had a huge gap of time from 16:00 yesterday until 06:00 today. I archived all the files on PC1 and submitted the files from PC2. I then rebooted the computer remotely. The CPU was down for 2:52 at which time there were no detections collected on PC2. I then uploaded the 236.203 file to cover the gap this morning. The first file from PC1 will be 236.109. We will monitor this site for the next upload. 08/18/2011 06:47 Alan For unknown reasons, PC1 stopped data collection at ~0220 and restarted at ~0500 PDT 8/18/2011. We are trying to find out what happened, possibly a UPS is failing. PC1 appears to have recovered- Multimon was running minimized, PTTP uploader was centered in the screen and file LMJ11230.103 opened at 0600. Files LMJ11230.101 (no closing timestamp) and 102 (opened at ~0500) were archived. PC2 remained operational and files LMJ11230.201 and 202 were submitted manually. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjusted as needed. The full flow transceiver 01 is experiencing unusually high noise levels averaging around 20%. From looking at the interrogation file, it appears that this started at 7:01 AM PST. Tried tuning, adjusting supply, unplugging sync cable, and swapping transceivers. I asked around to see if anyone was working on or turned on anything electrical at that time. The only thing going on was normal screen cleaner operations. I did notice water on the floor and condensation on the pipe in the enclosure for 01. I left the door open for a period of time to let the condensation evaporate. This had no impact on the noise floor. I wasn't able to determine the source of the water. The noise level and water in the antenna enclosure will be monitored for any change. 10 Sticks were thrown on A and B separator gates. All tags were read and diverted properly. PC1 and PC2 are 2 seconds behind atomic time. That was incorrect; in fact it was my PC clock that was set to 1 minute ahead of atomic time (somehow, between the time I updated MultiMon at GRJ and LMJ). I went back in and reset the clocks to be within one second of each other and atomic time. The barges are not able to safely dock due to high water flows so the facility is not collecting fish at this time. The A and B gates are in alarm as the air is shut off due to a work clearance. Mechanics are working down stream of the diversion section to replace some screens. The Mechanics will clear the alarm and re-activate the air once the work is completed. The Mechanics also report that a air hose came loose from a fitting over the weekend. The fitting was replaced and the gates returned to normal operation. PC1 was 67 seconds behind atomic time and PC2 was 72 seconds behind atomic time. Both PC's were set to with in 2 seconds of each other and atomic time. The FF is in the teens noise wise, across the board. I can the 'non spike' noise to single digits on most with the transceiver door open but when it is velcroed shut the noise goes into the lower teens and I couldn't 'play the door game' such that I could adjust the tune with the door open to get the desired results with the door shut. Changed the DNS entries in the SW to: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 4.2.2.3, these are google public dns servers. DNS entries on the client computers were not changed or effected. Added KeepAlive routine to registry in the utility pc.
