M4 was give control of the gates (facility is de-watered except for the FF). Stick where tossed down the flum to check the coil to coil logic. Timing will need to take place next spring when the facility waters up. A new PLC program was installed and each HMI was updated with new graphics to accomidate for the C2C logic. The noise on FF 01 and 02 is still occurring every night between approx. 8:40PM and 5:40AM. Site personnel covered the light sensors on the outdoor lighting in an attempt to duplicate the noise. No noise occurred. The air conditioners have been replaced in both the FF transceivers buildings and they are keeping the buildings much cooler. In an attempt to determine the cause of the elevated noise levels on FF 01 and 02 last night, all the security lights were turned on. This had no impact on the noise floor. The air conditioners in the FF sheds are not working. Replacements have been ordered. FF transceiver 02 (2020) has an increased noise level of about 15. It used to be around 4 to 5. This transceiver may be failing. The FF transceiver building 1 air conditioner does not seem to be cooling very well. Sticks were thrown on the A and B gates. All sticks were read on all transceivers and diverted properly. PC1 is 3 seconds and PC2 is 6 seconds ahead of atomic time. Files on PC2 were archived. I suspect that I hadn't waited long enough for the water level to increase before running the second stick test. Ran an additional 10 sticks while watching the gate. All 10 sticks arrived at the gate at the proper open time and were diverted properly. PC1 is 35 seconds behind atomic time. PC2 is 43 seconds behind atomic time. Files on PC2 were archived. The MM delay times were tested on A Gate by turning off all tranceivers but one and throwing 5 sticks. The MM delay times are fine. All sticks were read properly and diverted properly on A gate.5 more sticks were thrown with all four transcievers on. 25 sticks were thrown on B gate, B4 missed one stick but all sticks were diverted properly. All appropriate down stream coils had 100% detection. I slightly increased the air to A gate and flipped one of the flume cover lids to try and minimize the light that gets through to the flume. I threw 20 sticks on each gate, all were read on the proper coils and all were diverted properly. PSMFC will continue to monitor the efficiencies of these gates.
