The site will be visited tomorrow morning. 07/31/2006 07:51 darren@r 12:TestTagFailure: No direct cause for this alarm. The test tag is firing on the scheduled intervals. 07/22/2006 11:51 Scott_Li Site has not been uploading at the scheduled interval, manually pushed files to PTAGIS withou problems. Re-booted main computer in an attemp to restore the automated file uploader. Due to the reboot, there will be a small gap in the data set. 07/21/2006 16:22 Dave Manually tranferred three outstanding files. Transfer completed successfully with no problems and minimal delay. I enabled the "synchronize on the hour" auto-upload option and accepted the pre-configured 120s delay. This appears to be the standard configuration at the other mainstem MiniMon sites. 07/21/2006 09:25 Scott_Li Site had not been submitting files since yesterday afternoon. PCA'd into site and manually pushed files 201.E through 202.B to PTAGIS. Restarted the Minimon application , will monitor to ensure the automated upload process is successful. 07/20/2006 14:28 Darren_C I manually pushed the .C1 and .D1 files to the server via PCA. Darren R. Chase PSMFC Systems Engineer (509) 735-2773 ext.3 darren@psmfc.org 07/20/2006 07:30 Alan_Bro PC1 was rebooted at approximately 16:00 PST 7/19/2006 to clear a coms snafu and re-establish automated uploads. The sites will not upload files until possibly Monday the 17th or 18th or when the central database resumes normal operations.. 07/17/2006 15:09 PTOC_Bot The auto upload process was disengaged until further notice due to the scheduled outage of the central database. The sites will not upload files until possibly Monday the 17th or 18th or when the central database resumes normal operations.. 07/14/2006 09:11 alan@ruf 03:BadOscFreq: This alarm was generated by PTAGIS Field Operations personnel during a site visit. 07/14/2006 08:54 Alan_Bro Manually pushed MC206194.H1, MC206195.A1 and MC206195.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 07/12/2006 09:32 darren@r 02:LowExcCurrent: This alarm may have been caused by PSMFC personnel while on site for site GMC. 07/11/2006 17:04 Troy A site GMC was performed 07/11/06. All transcievers were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. 02 and 03 at the counting window are experiencing higher than desired noise levels. (02 6-12% and 03 15-17%). Tuning did not resolve the high noise. The lights were turned off to see if this helped which it did not. Logic would lead one to believe that if the noise was 'environmentally' related that you would see noise on 01 which is running well. A call has been put into Brad Eby to see if he may know of anything that is going on. 03 has been in double digit signal levels constantly since 07/09/06 at approximately 11:22 PDT. All three antenna's are reading at high efficiencies. PSMFC will be back on site tomorrow to try and get to the bottom of this. The rest of the ladder is working well, no problems to report. 07/09/2006 11:27 troy@ruf 07:Overrun: This alarm will be investigated on the next site visit. The antenna is reading well. 07/07/2006 16:55 Scott_Li The problem with the COE DNS server has been corrected. PCA'd into sites and returned the URL in the uploader back to the default. Sent diagnostic test PTAGIS server to check for typo's, tested good. 07/06/2006 12:41 scottl Due to an unknown DNS look up problem appearently at the COE distict, not confirmed but suspected, the uploader client URL was changed from FTP.PTAGIS.ORG to the I/P address in order to circumvent the above issue. The data collection pc's will stay in this configuration until the issue is resolved. Will follow up with COE-NWP CIS help desk for resolution. 06/26/2006 12:06 scottl Performed GMC, all transcievers were checked for tune and calibration. no problems to report. System Clocks are within 20 seconds of atomic time and 0 sec. from each other. 06/19/2006 11:55 Darren A site GMC was performed today (6-19-06). All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise and detection ability. The PC clocks are within 40 seconds of atomic time and 7 seconds of each other. No problems were found. 06/07/2006 13:36 Darren A site GMC was performed today (6-7-06). All the transcievers were checked for tuning, noise, and detection ability. The PC clocks are within 30 seconds of atomic time and 4 seconds of each other. Brad Eby informed PSMFC yesterday that the backboard for the counting window had been forced out of position and was found today in the ladder. The backboard was retrieved but will not be put back in place. COE engineer Danielle Stephens has already submitted drawings to Brad on a replacement design. The desing was shown to PSMFC personnel and we were in agreement with the purposed design. I do not know when the new backboard will be installed. Brad will inform our office when this is to happen. 06/05/2006 16:49 Scott_Li Responded to the message problem with remote data sites, Manually pushed data files via PCA , no apparent reason for these sites not to load at the scheduled interval. Network connection to the sites was very quick and reliable. Will monitor. 05/31/2006 12:44 Darren A site GMC was performed today (5-31-06). All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detection ability. The PC clocks were within 20 seconds of atomic time and 5 seconds of each other. No problems were found. 05/31/2006 07:49 darren@r 02:TestTagFailure: Previously cleared alarm. 05/30/2006 08:09 darren@r 02:TestTagFailure: A;ar, will be addressed on the next site GMC. 05/29/2006 11:45 Scott_Li Manually pushed data files to PTAGIS. Restarted the Minimon application in an attempt to shake loose whatever is hindering the auto upload process. All transceivers were checked for noise, tuning, and detectability. No problems were found. The files from PC1 were pushed manually to PTAGIS the log file indicates that there is an FTP error when trying to transmit files. I stopped the application and restarted hoping this would clear any problems from Minimon. We will check on the next load to see if the files are sent automatically. 04/18/2006 08:49 darren@r 04:LowExcCurrent: PSMFC personnel will be on site today for a site GMC and will investigate this alarm. 04/18/2006 08:40 Alan_Bro Manually pushed MC206107.C1 - MC206108.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. PTAGIS Field Operations will be onsite today to remedy the intermittent file loading. 04/17/2006 09:48 Alan_Bro Manually pushed MC206106.H1, MC206107.A1 and MC206107.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 04/10/2006 12:11 Darren A site GMC was performed today (4-10-06). All transceivers were checked for tuning and noise. No problems were found, with the exception of antenna 0B at MC1 which has been well documented in the event logs, the Data Collection Platforms were within 20 seconds of atomic time and one second of each other. 04/04/2006 12:34 Alan A GMC was performed 4/4/2006. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary, no problems found. 04/01/2006 17:40 Dave Enabled site checking and TASS monitoring at 1730h on April 1. 2006. 04/01/2006 09:35 Darren Yesterday at 12:30 the ladder was watered up. The new antennas (01, 02, 03) were tuned and tested prior to the water being introduced. Since PSMFC was not able to enter the ladder we checked the field by placing a tag into the antennas at different points and trying to verify that there were no dead spots in detection. The lower antennas (02, 03) were checked for interaction and found to have a slight effect on each other. We placed a sync cable between the two transceivers and had no interacting effects. All three antennas tuned up well with little to no noise. The average current was 4.4A. The orifice antennas were also tuned and checked for noise. No problems were found. Darren R. Chase PSMFC Feild Systems Engineer (509) 735-2773 Ext.3 02/17/2006 09:40 Alan_Bro Via PCA, I terminated MiniMon on both PCs so as to avoid creating empty files with incorrect transceiver IDs at ~10:00 2/16/2006. 02/17/2006 09:40 Alan_Bro The waterup date for the Washington ladder has been moved to 3/31/2006. 02/17/2006 09:40 Alan_Bro Automated file uploading was disabled via PCA at ~09:30 2-15-2006. It will be re-enabled when the new configuration is complete and the ladder waters back up. 02/15/2006 10:19 Dave I disabled site recognition (not just file submission checking) to prevent loading of data files until the site's antenna numbering schema has been updated at both the site and in the PTAGIS Site Configuration Manager (SCM). 02/15/2006 09:08 Alan_Bro PC1 was still interrogating to MC206045.G1 as of ~8:30 this morning. MiniMon was exited and re-started via PCA and the questionable data files were archived. MC206045.G2, MC206045.H2, MC206046.A2, MC206046.B2 and MC206046.C2 were manually submitted from PC2 via PCA to fill the data gap. Data files from 2005 were moved to their own archive folders and the clocks on both PCs were set to within 1 second of atomic time. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. 02/10/2006 09:27 Alan_Bro The North ladder was inspected on 2-8-2006. All antennas and conduits were photographed for future reference. No problems were discovered. 01/13/2006 08:14 darren@r 01:LowExcCurrent,01:TestTagFailure,03:LowExcCurrent,07:LowExcCurrent,07:Te stTagFailure,09:LowExcCurrent,0F:LowExcCurrent: These alarms were generated by the ladder being de-watered. The site was de-watered yesterday 1-12-06 at around 09:00 . The site will remain out of service until 3-31-06. 01/01/2006 12:40 PTOC_Bot Annual log file initiation for MC2 #### End of Event Log for MC2 ###
