    A GMC was performed 12/19/2007. All transceivers were checked and tuned
    as necessary. Transceivers 08 and 0A have noise in the teens that cannot
    be tuned out - possibly related to issues with 09. Both were tuned using
    the timer tag and ended up with a slightly higher than normal phase (5 &
    7), but read the stick at ~25% signal level. PTAGIS Field Operations will
    continue to monitor. The clocks on both PCs were set to within one second
    of atomic time, no other problems found.

    PTAGIS Field Operations personnel during a site visit.

    A GMC was performed 12-4-2007. All transceivers were checked and tuned as
    necessary. Upon adjusting coarse capacitance for transceiver 0A it went
    into a high (~50%) noise state. I was able to tune the noise down to the
    low teens. PTAGIS Field Operations will continue to monitor. The clocks
    on both PCs were set to within one second of atomic time, no other
    problems found.

    A site visit was made 11/21/2007. PC1 was out of collection mode for
    about 6 minutes for some maintenance. No activity was observed on PC2
    during PC1's downtime. The fiber to transceiver 09 was repaired.

    A GMC was performed 11-20-2007. All transceivers were checked and tuned
    as necessary. A problem has developed with antenna 09. Transceiver 09 can
    drive antenna 0B. Transceiver 0B cannot drive antenna 09. The cables were
    restored and transceiver/antenna 09 are limping along at ~0.3A. We will
    investigate further when the ladder is de-watered. During the
    troubleshooting, transceiver 0B developed the SRAM error. It was replaced
    and will be repaired. During the work performed, fiber 1 to transceiver
    09 was broken. Fiber 3 was put into service, fiber 1 will be repaired
    when time allows. In an effort to facilitate more efficient file
    uploading, the temp folders were cleared out on both PCs. The clocks were
    set to within one second of atomic time on both PCs. No other problems
    found.

    The Walla Walla district T1 communications were restored yesterday around
    14:00 PDT. The files that were outstanding loaded on there own at the
    15:00PST load time.

    I was able to verify that the Walla Walla district communications are
    down. According to Lin Ming at Little Goose Dam he received and e-mail
    yesterday that stated because of a severe storm in Walla Walla there was
    some damage to a 4 ton Air Conditioning unit at the district office and
    that the communications would be down until Monday, probably Tuesday
    because of the Holiday. I will have to verify all platforms with the help
    of site personnel as best I can. I was able to verify GOJ data collection.

    It appears that there is some problems with the Walla Walla District
    communications and has been since yesterday afternoon. I have been trying
    to reach Pete Peterson or Dave Dave Demaris to verify the problem. I will
    continue to try and get into the sites and verify when communications are
    restored.

    A site GMC was performed today (7-30-07). All transceivers were checked
    for tuning, noise, and detection ability. The transceiver on antenna 02
    was severely out of tune and this was causing the timer tags not to fire
    all the time. The system was retuned and we will monitor the timer tags
    for firing. No problems were found.

    Site was visited because the transceiver for antenna 0A had failed and
    was replaced. The unit was not firing timer tags and was found to have No
    Drive for the antenna. The neew transceiver was tuned and tested. The
    alarm threshold on antenna 08 was changed to eliminate the alarm that was
    reported from yesterday and this morning. The threshold and the actual
    current were equal now the threshold is 300mA below actual.

    The recent HDX interference was resolved yesterday. The source of the
    trouble was that U of I personnel moved their battery charger closer to
    their MUX. The closer proximity allowed the noise from MUX to couple into
    our transceivers through the power circuits. The battery charger was
    restored to its' prior position near the transceiver 10 and 12 enclosure
    and all is well.

    determine why it now seems to be causing problems with the FDX system.

    It appears as if the HDX system is still running as 0C,0E,10 & 12 are
    having trouble reading the test tags. 0C, 0E and 10 read pitagged fish
    but 12 did not. 12 may not have had any pitagged fish pass through it
    though?

    Site visit to investigate why test tags 0E,10,12 were not firing at their
    timed interval found that the HDX system is interfering with the FDX
    system.  Noise levels on the 3 FDX transceivers are at 50 to 60 % and
    currently generating Excessive Noise Alarms in the data files. Unplugged
    the HDX system and noise levels returned to an acceptable level. The HDX
    system in question is plugged into a Pittag maintenance recepticle
    between enclosures 0E,10,12. Will contact the U of I and talk about what
    had changed recently with their system.  Will post more information when
    available.

     The file MC207120.D1 was manually retrieved via PCA but when I checked
    the raw file archive the file was already on the server. I was not aware
    that the file may have already been sent. I made sure that the file was
    archived on the PC so as not to be loaded again.

    Transceiver inactivity from 11:24 to 12:26 on 4/17/2007 suggests a power
    outage during that time. A request for confirmation has been made to
    site personnel. A gap in data appeared on PC1. Files MC207107.J2,
    MC207107.K2 and MC207107.L2 were submitted manually from PC2 via PCA.
    File MC207107.M9 was created from MC207107.M2 and submitted via email.
    More than likely, the UPS for PC1 is failing and will be investigated on
    the next site visit.

    Today Joe Fisk of the Electronics Systems Control group called to let us
    know that the power for the fiber to copper converters for all three
    sites was going to be cleaned up and remounted. He called around 08:30
    and informed us that this would be happening before lunch. I was able to
    check after about 13:00 and found that the connections to MC1 PC's were
    not available. I called Joe and he checked the converters for a link
    light and must have cycled the power because the connection was
    re-established. I was able to PC into the site and send the two files
    that were missing manually via PCA.

    Communications from both computers has been lost. Data collection could
