No problems were discovered during this visit. 08/31/2011 14:21 scottl As requested by Don, deleted all PCA user names and passwords and created a generic user name and password for the entire PTOC group. Will inform the group of these new credentials via voice. All other sites rather than McNary are still using the old user names and passwords until O&M personnel can be on-site to make the change. 08/31/2011 10:09 Scott_Li Zymon monitoring service indicates that the VPN tunnel is down. Called EOT and they indicate that there was a brief power outage. More often than not, when this occurs, the radio modem needs to be power cycled. Could not remotely access the SW to re-establish VPN, may require a site visit. 08/29/2011 09:49 Troy A site GMC was performed 08/29/2011. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjustments made where needed. No problems to report. 08/20/2011 07:18 darren@b 03:Overrun: No direct cause for this failure. PSMFC will investigate during the next visit. 08/19/2011 07:30 scottl Traveled to the site in order re-establish the data connection after an ISP outage. Submitted delinquent data files, Zymon monitoring service shows connection back up. No other problems to report. 08/18/2011 15:02 Scott_Li Per Zymon monitoring service, the IP connection is down and cannot be accessed. Have call into EOTC will follow up. Data to PTAGIS from these sites may be somewhat delayed. 08/10/2011 09:59 Alan Regarding the last two pitevents: The alarms on xcvr 01 were caused during yesterdays GMC. FYI- I stopped in at the counting window to check on xcvr 01 on my way out yesterday (after sending the GMC pitevent) and found that the noise had gone back to normal levels. 08/10/2011 06:36 scottl@b 01:BadOscFreq,01:LowExcCurrent,01:Overrun: Will address on the next site GMC 08/09/2011 14:41 Alan A GMC was performed 8-9-2011. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. As of 15:00, xcvr 01 is showing noise from 14 -100. There is an ~15" waterfall at antenna 01 due to accumulations in the trash rack. Flow is laminar through 02 and 03, both of which are functioning normally. A search of the area revealed no other noise makers. Outstanding files on PC2 were archived. The clocks on both PCs are within one second of atomic time. No other problems found. 07/26/2011 15:11 Rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent: Current threshold was lowered during todays site visit. 07/26/2011 09:50 Roger Performed site GMC on 7/26/2011. All transceivers were checked for tune and adjusted as needed. Counting window antenna 03 was fine when I arrived. In the time it took to do the ladder GMC and enter the PIT Tag room, it went noisy with levels in the 40% to 100% range. I couldn't locate any source of noise. I reseated the connector at the antenna and the noise went away. However, that may only be coincidental. PC1 and PC2 are within 1 second of atomic time and each other. No other problems to report. 07/26/2011 05:59 Rclark@b 03:LowExcCurrent: Will investigate during todays site visit. 07/24/2011 12:05 Troy It appears the EOT issue has been resolved. All outstanding files loaded on their own. 07/24/2011 09:09 Troy Contacted EOT again, over an hour ago and was told the tech is responding to several calls. Looking at Hobbit it appears there is periodic connections which points to EOT and not the site computers. PSMFC will continue to monitor throughout the day. Attempts to reach site personnel have not been successful as of yet. 07/24/2011 06:34 Troy A call is into EOT concerning the internet connection. Someone is to call me back after 0800. 07/23/2011 08:10 Troy@bay 01:TestTagFailure: This will be addressed on the next site visit. 07/12/2011 13:00 Roger Performed site GMC on 7/12/2011. No problems to report. 07/09/2011 09:03 scottl@b 01:LowExcCurrent: Noted 07/08/2011 14:06 Troy 01 was replaced On 01 and 03 the current gain was adjusted and the current alarm threshold was set. The noise report delay for 01,02 and 03 was set to 1 min. The counting window personnel report that there has been some sort of construction/de-struction going on above here room. They finished up are 9:30pm last night and she has not seen them today. 01 is experiencing noise that I can not tune out. Is not constant. It could be fish hanging near by or related to the construction/de-struction but no one is currently working. I'll make another attempt at tuning on my way out. 07/07/2011 10:01 Roger At approx 9:15 AM on 7/7/2011 the counting window transceiver 01 was checked due to reduced efficiency and missed timer tags. The transceiver was properly tuned with FDXB signal levels in the 2 to 6 range. The timer tag test had a hit rate of 100. The tag detectability was good. There wasn't any obstructions at the antenna and no obvious causes for the reduced detection. The counting window monitor hadn't noticed any work being performed at the ladder site today. No problems to report. (Pit event sent from JDJ utility PC) 07/06/2011 11:08 scottl Performed site GMC, transceivers were retuned and hit rates are at 100 percent.
