Replaced Timer Tag on atenna A4, It appears that the TT was not failing, just had coorosion on the connector pins and sockets. Could not clean well enough to ensure a reliable fix, replaced TT with new, 3D9.0EEEEEE30C. Uploaded revised ignore.tag file to FTP server. Stopped and started Multimon on PC1 and 2. Facility is in primary bypass for the rest of the year. Per SMP personnel, sampling stopped on October 1. File MCJ10209.208 was uploaded from PC2 to fill the gap while PC1 was out of data collection. 07/27/2010 16:00 Troy 7-27-2010 B gate was reported to be banging. Upon arrival it was found that the soft close was in need of adjustment. The separator operator reported that during high fish traffic the gate works fine but during low it would bang upon time out. It was suggested that the gate be test fire a couple times a shift during low fish traffic and that perhaps the mechanic could check the alignment. I adjusted the Travel Close from 26 to 28 and made some adjustments to the soft close regulator. I then tested A gate and made some adjustments to it's soft close regulator. 10 sticks were thrown on both gates, all sticks were read on the appropriate coils and all were diverted properly. Site personnel report that there are no plans to use C & D gates this season and asked that we not test them while fish are going over the separator. No other problems found. 07/15/2010 08:55 Dave McNary began collection for transportation at 6AM (PST) on July 15. I updated the map file to MCJ10196.MAP at 7:43 AM (PDT); this version enables default PIT tag diversion at the A- and B-Separator gates, and at the A- and B-Raceway gates. By explicit request, all Action Code (AC) groups will be ignored at the diversion gates, and transported. Any non-AC tags detected exiting the separator between 6:00 and 7:43AM were routed to the raceways for transport. Subsequent to 7:43 AM, non-AC tags will normally be diverted back to the river. The PC clocks are within nine seconds of each other and atomic time. Hopefully this will solve the issue of no emails when power is lost. The satellite modem and sonic-wall were removed from the platform and will be returned to the Kennewick office. A PLC program mod was made,the 5 second re-send of the message instruction was re-enabled. The message will once again be sent to Multimon every 5 seconds, it will send 6 elements which were returned to their original order: N7:1 = N7:5, N7:2 = N7:6, N7:3 = N7:4. There is a need to prove whether the erroneous messages received in the past are due to hardware or programming. If the erroneous message appear again then the problem will point to the 5 second re-send of the message. PSMFC will monitor for erroneous messages. The A and B gates were turned on and tested, adjustments made and then tested with sticks. The previous change in the order of the elements resulted in 3 new knowns. Now the error is written to both PC1 and PC2. The sample rate is no longer 256 times what it was set at and the switch settings all go to their 0 or re-set state. This information is derived from only one instance at this site. With help from site personnel, the gates were aired up and enabled. 10 sticks were passed through both separator monitors with 100% diversion and detection. The gates were then aired down and disabled. Outstanding files on PC2 were archived. PC1 is 3 seconds behind atomic time, PC2 is 3 seconds ahead of PC1.
