This detection system was located approximately 10 meters downstream from the north-eastern outlet of the pond. A total of eight files were downloaded. On April 14, water levels in the pond rose significantly due to an upstream beaver dam removal by the property care takers. Due to this, escapement occurred sometime during the night of August 14 through April 15. The barrier net was re-secured, however fish continued to appear in detection systems up to the release date. Detection efficiencies during this event was low, due to the presence of a singular detection system. It is estimated that the escape included a 30% depletion of the total population, while tag hits only account for 25%. This detection system was pulled from the channel on May 15, 2012 at 12:00 hrs, after 3 days of zero tag detections and a snorkel survey to confirm site as void of juvenile spring chinook. Detection system (02) was placed in the channel and started interrogation on April 16, 2012 at 10:00 hrs. This system was located 5 meters downstream from the uppermost antenna (01). This antenna was then moved on April 17 roughly 10 meters downstream from the south-eastern outfall of the pond to better apprehend tags. Due to this relocation, 01 was offline for the period of time from 15:11 to 15:42. On May 1 at 03:19, staff noticed that the antenna for system (02) was reading a current of 1.9. This antenna only picked up 50 tags between the download on April 30 and the check at 03:19. The current was adjusted back to 3.8 immediately. A total of six files were downloaded. This detection system was downloaded one last time and taken out on May 7, 2012 at 13:15 hrs when it was found that the antenna had leaked and was rendered non-functioning. Detection system (03) was placed in the channel and started interrogation on April 17, 2012 at 13:55 hrs. This antenna was never moved, and did not experience any lapse in coverage. A total of seven files were downloaded. Detection system (03) was taken out on May 15, 2012 at 12:05 hrs.
