    Installation of the PIT tag interrogation system (Middle Antenna, 02) for
    the Mid-Valley Pond began on March 18, 2013 at 08:00 hrs.  This detection
    system was located approximately 20 meters downstream from the
    north-eastern outlet of the pond.  This antenna was never moved, and did
    not experience any lapse in coverage.  A total of five files were
    downloaded.  On March 20th, an otter was observed entering the pond by
    climbing over the barrier net, forcing the jump screen underwater.  Due to
    this, escapement occurred sometime during the night of March 20th and
    21st.
    The barrier net was re-secured, however fish continued to appear in
    detection systems up to the release date (April 11, 2013).  It is assumed
    that all escaped tags were apprehended on the array system.  This
    detection
    system was pulled from the channel on May 2, 2013 at 09:10 hrs, after 3
    days of zero tag detections and a snorkel survey to confirm site as void
    of
    juvenile spring chinook.

    Detection system (03) was placed in the channel and started interrogation
    on March 19, 2013 at 15:23 hrs.  This system was located 5 meters
    downstream from the Middle antenna (02).  This antenna was never moved,
    and
    did not experience any lapse in coverage.  A total of four files were
    downloaded.  This detection system was pulled from the channel on May 2,
    2013 at 09:12 hrs, after 3 days of zero tag detections and a snorkel
    survey
    to confirm site as void of juvenile spring chinook.

    Detection system (01) was placed in the channel and started interrogation
    on March 19, 2013 at 15:50 hrs.  This antenna was never moved, and did not
    experience any lapse in coverage.  A total of four files were downloaded.
     This detection system was pulled from the channel on May 1, 2013 at 13:28
    hrs to fulfill array system needs at other sites, after tag detections
    dropped to one tag per day for a week.
